I’m one of those life-of-the-mother cases, and I regret my abortion. It was a horrible experience, and it never leaves me. There is no amount of grief counseling or therapy or belief in forgiveness that fixes it.
I am very very sorry. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
A woman wrote into oreilley last night confessing regret for her abortion. You could hear the pain in her words as he read her email on the air. It’s so very sad to me that those who claim to be women’s advocates set them up for the pain of a lifetime. What liars.
God bless you.
That kind of grief can be consuming. It hurts forever and I grieve for you.
I’m so sorry.
If you've prayed the sinner's prayer, admitted you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, recognized your need of salvation and recognized Jesus Christ, who shed His precious blood to cover the sins of all mankind, asked Him to live in your heart forever, you ARE forgiven.
Now go and forgive yourself for holding on to our past sins, goes against what Jesus did for us all on that ugly cross and His life was in vain, if we say His forgiveness doesn't wash away our sins.
God tells us that as far as the East is from the West, He will remember our sins no more, that we are as white as snow.
On that day when you meet Him in Heaven, when He looks at you, He will only see Jesus Christ, the spotless Lamb, whom He chose to crush for our sins.
Also on that day when you see Christ for the first time, you will also be welcomed into heaven by that child who loves and is waiting for you, whom Christ welcomed the minute it left this cruel earth!
Please pray again and ask Jesus to remind you why He died and thank Him for His sacrifice so that you too, may be washed by His blood.
Yours was the only legitimate reason for this procedure, and my heart bleeds for you as well as the millions of other women who do it for less legitimate reason. You know where your hope is, and you know there is forgiveness, the pain notwithstanding. And you know you have friends, those you’ve met and just voices on the web, that you can talk to and who understand.
God Bless you. Prayers.
