Donald Trump has broken the political contract with my party. The RNC should return the favor and bar him from the debates, even if it costs us the election
Donald Trump has said plenty to offend humanity at large, which humanity, ever the sucker for a train wreck, keeps rewarding with high ratings. But speaking strictly as a perennially disappointed Northeast Republican, what I find most outrageous is his transparent abuse of my party for expediency's sake.
Rick Wilson recently pointed out on CNN, as others have, that Trump isn't even consistently registered as a Republican, probably rendering him ineligible for the primary ballot in at least a dozen states. He's backed Hillary and other Democrats whenever the winds shifted that way.
Trump himself told MSNBC's Joe Scarborough all we need to know: that for him, "the best way to win is to win as a Republican. I do not want to 'do independent' at all." But he'll make his calculation based on "how I'm being treated by the Republicans."
The Republicans: Third person.

I am not a Trump fan, but this article is pure bilge. For the HuffPo, costing the GOP the White House is not a bug, it’s a feature.

Whether he wins or not is yet to be seen but, he sure does not pull any punches on the issues that are important to America. Isn’t it time that we had other than an attorney in Washington? If we ran this company like a business we would be much better off. I wonder how many “you’re fired” slips would go out the first week. You go Donald.
There were no restrictions placed by elitists who now believe politicians are a separate class of people above the governed.

Au contraire, if Trump succeeds to the Presidency, these stooges that now occupy the Senate and house will be pissing all over themselves in trying to be of service to him. It won't happen without a groundswell of support from both sides of the populist political spectrum, and if it does it spells the political doom of these charlatans, and that's what they're afraid of
If Trump gets the nod I’m not taking my vote and going home. I just don’t know if he’ll be a Reagan or a Carter as far as Congress is concerned.
In that case, I guess we better let the GOP-wing of the Democrat party nominate another Bush for us.

What WE find outrageous is being TAKEN FOR GRANTED by our party, in the name of “civility”. Sorry, but that got us a DICTATOR...we’ll try something new this time.

Considering the way the Republican Party has behaved, I doubt ANYONE here blames him. Regardless, there are 45 other states, he can win with them alone.

If the threshold is GREATER than 20% support (i.e., 100%-80%), then the debate will simply be a blank screen. A comment like this one makes me think that he either considers us (i.e., the base) to be TOTAL IDIOTS, or he’s actually a troll, trying to help us. Sadly, it’s probably the first.

John Anderson was a mentally-ill candidate in 1980 that the REPUBLICAN PARTY had dragged out there to try to prevent Reagan from winning. They are NO DIFFERENT today and Anderson, unlike Perot, had absolutely ZERO EFFECT on what happened after that election.

Who is this pundit Hugh Hewitt....he was on Hannity, and wants Trump to apologize for his McCain comment. Hugh is not happy Trump is leading from the looks on his face, which looked like he has a severe case of indigestion.
