Hollywood Stars Recoil as Amnesty Suggests Prostitution is a Human Right
Breitbart ^ | 7/30/15 | Donna Rachel Edmunds

Amnesty International has sparked a glitzy Hollywood backlash from its usual left wing fan-base by submitting a draft policy calling for prostitution to be legalised in order to promote the human rights of prostitutes.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this, and using the left's own "logic", where did the right to choose go? So, women have the right to choose an abortion, (it's their body after all), but shouldn't have the right to choose prostitution, right? So ok to sell aborted baby parts, but not sell girly parts?

WTH????

Just tell them that prostitution compliments and supports the abortion industry.

(and no animals were harmed in the human dissection)

Why is anyone surprised?

Radical Feminism has already gotten there. Women are just pieces of meat now. Their teaching middle schoolers that BDSM is fun and they should try the rough stuff. Women like being hit or something.

Just like radical leftists are now deciding that racial segregation is good for minorities. They shouldn’t be contaminated by being around whites.

The left are insane.

Hollywood doesn’t like prostitution?

Has Charlie Sheen weighed in on the subject?

The left are insane.

The problem is, how many "on the right" would patronize their profession if it was legal?

This problem, driven by demand, goes beyond politics, race, religion, and all other groups except one. We know which group that is.

Hollywood would be more supportive if the call for prostitution rights was accompanied by free contraception, healthcare and abortions for sex workers.

I expect prostitution may be legalized nationwide, and not just in rural Nevada, eventually.

Reason being, the sexual revolution has completely transformed societal and legal standards. Sex outside marriage no longer has any social stigma. Nor does adultery. We have a culture in which its considered OK to have sex with any number of partners, any gender of partners. We have recently imposed homosexual marriage as a civil right.

Prostitution is simply another variation of sex activity involving consenting adults. As such, laws against it will be challenged in court or repealed.

Yeah, let’s go right back into the dark ages. Sounds freaking fantastic.

“Prostitution is simply another variation of sex activity involving consenting adults.”

Except it very often doesn’t involve consenting adults. Women and children are often trafficked into the sex trade, or their protector will use violence, drugs, and isolation to keep them from leaving.

It’s already legal to be paid to have sex on camera. Oh, wait, I forgot.....they’re “entertainers”....so that makes it okay.

You also have sites like SugarDaddy, which is a form of prostitution as well.

Understood. I think an analogy would be pornograghy. We have legalized and allow the most vile and explicit pornography you can imagine, but still maintain laws and regulations against child pornograohy. I would anticipate the same reasoning in prostitution, in which we say its illegal and prosecutable for underage prostitutes, but allowable for those of legal age.

Since we are at a point where key Supreme Court decisions have made it clear that we cannot have laws or social.policies which are based on morality, I expect that laws against prostitution will eventually be abolished.

I would imagine that one could pay a woman for sex as long as he has his cell phone video recorder going and claim it’s entertainment or making an “amateur video”

Stop and smell the irony and hypocrisy. The right to choose feminist crowd say women don’t have the right to choose prostitution. And have their collective panties in a bunch with outrage over this. That doesn’t make much sense does it?
