Not too different than GOPe.

I would like to see that illegals, no matter if otherwise law abiding, never qualify for citizenship.

but sometimes it’s jobs that a citizen of the United States doesn’t want to do

This is the meme he has bought and it's not true as far as I can tell.

Trump is not a stellar conservative, he’s a hell of a bomb thrower, but he also has an extensive record of being a liberal. It’s just a question of if those liberal tendencies are going to eventually come forward in this campaign?

No.

I have no need, use, want or desire for illegal aliens to be here for any reason at all, ever.

Not even one.

I want to move them out, and we’re going to move them back in...

I’ve heard more coherent explanations before. I think he said yes, no, and I don’t know, maybe.

Obama just uses teleprompters and I still love being candid, but if he doesn’t know, who will?

PINCH ME when you find a Republican candidate using the word DEPORT for Illegals that are otherwise obeying the law.

Until them, it’s TRUMP ALL THE WAY for me. I’ll take a wall and getting rid of the criminals, that is MORE than Bush-43 did and any other president.

He was then asked if DREAMers should have to leave the country first as well, he stated, “They’re with their parents, it depends. But, look, it sounds cold, and it sounds hard. But, we have a country, our country’s going to hell. We have to have a system where people are legally in our country.”

Like he said they gotta go with their parents out of the country.

"Trump elaborated that he would give these illegal immigrants, 'Legal status,' not citizenship, but, 'later down the line, who knows, what’s going to happen.'"

Donald is for everything and its opposite.

I’m clearly not a Trump fan but we’ve got to recognize what is happening in Mexico and Central America. A virtual civil war has engulfed Mexico with the Narco Cartels and much of the elites suppressing and killing the poor and middle class. Those people entering the USA are in large part criminals and narco thugs escaping the dominant cartels plus the thugs belonging to the cartels and coming here to do business. The smaller group are country people and poor laborers trying to escape the carnage. This last group is composed of the actual victims of the civil war but are hard to distinguish from the criminals. Closing the border and vetting those here is an essential first step.

"...whether it’s the grapes, or whether it’s jobs, and sometimes it’s jobs,...but sometimes it’s jobs that a citizen of the United States doesn’t want to do. I mean, there are jobs that a lot of people don’t want to do."

That's true. There are many jobs in every community of our country for illegals that Donald would legalize, and we worthless Americans don't want to do any work. It's not about vanity in the government-connected, globetrotting business leaders or the international slavery racket at all.

Donald Trump suggests 'merit system' for undocumented immigrants
NJ Advance Media, NJ.com ^ | July 25, 2015 | Brent Johnson
But he said the country should take a different approach with "the other ones" — i.e., undocumented immigrants who are already in the country who have "done a good job." "I'm a very big believer in merit system," Trump said. "I have to tell you ... some of these people have been here, they've done a good job. You know, in some cases, sadly, they've been living under the shadows, etc., etc. We have to do something. So whether it's merit or whether it's whatever, but I'm a believer in the merit system. If somebody's been outstanding, we try and work something out.

Document fraud/stolen identities/tax cheats/numerous fraudulent applications (such as instate tuition for out of state/nation residency)...

Nope, no crimes, just scofflaws.

I never once hear any liberals saying they would fasttrack the legal immigrants who’s processing takes years. Just making ‘it so’ for dreamers who never applied.

Cruz has said secure the Border first, then deal with the Illegal Invaders (my label) who are already here later.

Is that Position considered some sort of Amnesty Light? Should we push Cruz to explain his position in more detail?

I guess I won’t send Cruz another dime until he has an exact plan in place. LOL

No matter how much we may enjoy watching the (probably quite temporary) take down of the political and media establishments that has been taking place, Donald Trump solves nothing.

Not only has he always been wrong on principles and policy, being a liberal Democrat, his recent, oh-so-politically-convenient “conversion” amounts only to him morphing, at least partially, from liberal Democrat positions toward most of the stances of establishment Republicans. In other words, he’s still wrong on principles and policy.

This is just the latest example. If you manage to sort through Trump’s rather confused words, and boil it down, there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between his position and that of Jeb Bush.

Oh no, we won’t give them a path to citizenship. We’ll give them “legal status.” In other words, we’ll formalize what we already have: a subclass inside America.

Which isn’t very American, to put it bluntly.

Attrition is the best way forward.

The dirty little secret about illegal immigration that’s never discussed concerns the group that will suffer the most for it.

Just 2 yrs ago Cruz proposed amendments to the Gang Of 8 Bill. Meaning, since he chose to amend it, he would be voting FOR it .

He proposed to "expand green card opportunities" (whatever that means in a bill that's supposed to be addressing the illegal situation) and "increase high-skilled “H1B” visas"...I'm sure a lot of you (unemployed) "high skilled" Cruz supporters would jump for joy over that one.

But hey, it's all about Trump.

Just move along, nothing to see here. Don't pay any attention to the guy behind the curtain.
