In a Cruz v Trump nomination showdown, who would win? I was wondering about this so I started a poll. The current results show it’s not even close, Cruz would trounce Trump in a 1 on 1.

Well if FR was representative of Republican primary voters AND there were only the two candidates running, you would be right.
