Ted Cruz Slams ‘Passionately Pro-Abortion Media' for ‘Hiding’ Videos

Sen. Ted Cruz is calling out the “passionately pro-abortion" media for “hiding” videos exposing Planned Parenthood.

On Tuesday, July 28th, Students for Life of America hosted more than 60 #WomenBetrayed rallies across the country to protest Planned Parenthood selling the body parts of aborted babies. Despite the high temperatures, hundreds showed up for the Washington, D.C. rally, which featured several presidential candidates as speakers, including Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

During the event, MRC Culture asked Sen. Cruz if the the media and journalists have done enough to cover the videos.

“No, of course they’re not,” Cruz began. “The mainstream media wants to do everything they can to hide these videos from the American people.”

In the interview, Sen. Cruz accused the media of keeping the truth about Planned Parenthood from Americans.

“When you see a senior Planned Parenthood official say she wants to sell so many body parts of unborn children, she can buy a Lamborghini? Those are not the values of the American people.”

“You don’t see these on the nightly news,” he challenged. “Because they don’t want the American people to focus on what’s going on. Which is why you don’t see reporters asking the U.S. Department of Justice daily if they’re going to open a criminal investigation into an organization where two of its senior officials have now been caught on tape apparently admitting to multiple felons.”

As for their motives, Sen. Cruz said journalists themselves are strong abortion supporters.

Here is an obvious example of systemic bias from the media.

The media is skeered that the sheeple might wake up.

Texas AG, Ken Paxton has new video as well.

Texas AG Reveals Existence of Unreleased Planned Parenthood Video That ‘Will Be Difficult for Many People to See’

Paxton says his office has launched both a criminal and civil investigation into Planned Parenthood but offered few details. He said one area could focus on potential deceptive trade practices

Good for Mr. Cruz! Media activism needs to be addressed. It’s not even bias anymore.

But can the media be shamed into changing their ways?

“Systemic bias” from the liberal, pro-abortion media.? Absolutely.

Thank God that there is also conservative, anti-abortion media in this country that is dominated by Fox News being the number one cable news outlet (with ratings that often beat CNN, HLN and MSNBC COMBINED) and the astronomical ratings of conservative talk radio plus the conservative blogs and news aggregators of the Internet.

At the Founding of the Republic, each political faction and then each political party had its own media outlets (newspapers). That’s why even today, some newspapers have retained the names “Republican” and “Democrat.”

The media in our nation began with pro-federalist and pro-republican print journalism.

I used to think that Television was just an evolutionary step away from newspapers. I have come to realize that this is not even close. There is a different portion of the human brain that engages with reading than with watching television or a movie.

Visuals bypass the more analytical portions of the brain and directly target the emotional centers. Television can get ideas past a person's common sense guards far more easily than can be done by reading.

Television and Visuals in general are closer to being a method of brainwashing than they are a means of conveying information and ideas. The Human brain is simply biased towards visuals in a manner that the cognitive part can't always deal with.

It has become a weapon, and that weapon needs to be removed from the hands of the Liberals who currently possess it. Maybe afterwards we can put safeguards on it to prevent it from becoming too conservative, but first it must be knocked away from their grasp.

I have not been able to watch one yet. I probably saw 15 or more beheading videos but these are far more evil.

I have no problem with what you are saying. As I said, competing and winning in the marketplace of ideas via the free enterprise system is open to any entrepreneur.
Accomplishing change via the Federal Communications Commission is unlikely. Obama appointed the Chairman and there are two other Democrats and two Republicans on the Commission. The current Chairman’s term expires in 2018.

Have you seen that BBC documentary titled “The Century of the Self?”

It’s really interesting.

Unfortunately, the original 4 hr piece has been broken into thousands of smaller clips with co-opted commentary and it’s become very difficult to find the original.

No, I haven't. Does it touch on how people absorb thoughts and ideas?

Sound like it is worth keeping an eye out for. I'll have to see if I can find some of these bits next time I get on Youtube.

The owners of the videos who have been ordered by a judge not to “release” them need to turn them over to Wikileaks. Wikileaks will release them. They’ll release them all in their entirety.

Yes.

How Propaganda became PR.

Here’s a short clip. Once again, my or your ability to find the full 4 hour documentary is a challenge.
