On Tuesday the third undercover video of Planned Parenthood's despicable practices was released by the Center for Medical Progress, but as the blog Jammie Wearing Fools highlights, some people may not see it if PP gets its way:
Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota warned news outlets today that airing undercover videos from the Center for Medical Progress could violate “patient privacy.” Planned Parenthood says the videos violate laws however no wrong doing by the Center for Medical Progress has been proven.
"The material should not be aired," states a press release sent out to the stations. This absurdly transparent attempt at damage control is no surprise. The organization has been engaging in mafia-like strong-arm tactics in their all-out attack-as-defense strategy, including congressional pressure, an Obama Department of Justice investigation. and the same from the California Attorney General's office.
In short, PP is willing to do just about anything to stop people from hearing bad things about it. Well, anything except for not selling baby parts.

The board members of this group believe that abortion is “genocide,” and employ people who went to jail for attempting to bomb a women’s health clinic. They are also connected with the man who murdered abortion provider Dr. George Tiller.

My local TV stations are so left-wing, they wouldn’t have run them anyway.

So, these people have no qualms about killing babies and harvesting their organs, so
if they made a threat against me, I’d consider it a death threat and act accordingly.
They will get the support of the DOJ.
Funny how the baby murderers do not want people to actually see what is behind their euphemisms. Show people what is actually happening.
The only way this video violates patient privacy is if those limbs and organs came from a patient - a human being - as opposed to just being clumps of cells or medical waste.
Maybe PP should think twice about raising this objection.

I work in the medical field and can tell you that this is BS. Yes, doctors, nurses, hospitals are prohibited by federal law to release medical information on a patient. But the law does not apply to private individuals or groups that are not employed the medical filed.

Shouldn’t it be called Planned Unparenthood (PU)? Nobody that deals with these people becomes a “ parent”.
If televising the videos would violate patient privacy, then discussing it with the undercover investigators would be just as much a violation.

Rush made the point that this type of undercover news reporting is what used to be done on 60 minutes. Of course, that was with a liberal slant.

The “patient” is dead, so does s/he have any privacy rights? Don’t think so.
Planned Parenthood and “pro-choice” people don’t believe that fetus IS a person, so how can s/he be a patient with any rights whatsoever, especially having already been denied the right to LIFE?
How ironic that they use the term “FOOTage” in their letter. Yes, I did see at least one foot in that pie plate, age undetermined. I’ll never look at pie in the same way again.
These people are sick and morally corrupt. They have the gall to cite laws, when they themselves arguably broke laws, notably the one that states that fees for “tissue” must be related to actual expenses incurred providing the “specimens”. Obviously, when the doctor is trying to maximize “profit”, there’s no relationship at all with actual costs.
They’re simply trying to do anything they can to continue to be not transparent about what really goes on in their abortion mills, because they know that when taxpayers SEE those mutilated babies for themselves, they may rethink providing half a billion dollars a year to these horrible people.
