President Obama on Monday denounced the frequently combative tone of the crowded race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, saying "the American people deserve better" and calling out Donald Trump specifically.

Hours later, Trump fired back.

"He's probably the worst president in the history of our country," the billionaire businessman said during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News.

*snip*

"In 18 months, I'm turning over the keys," Obama continued. "I want to make sure I'm turning over the keys to somebody who's serious about the serious problems the country faces and the world faces. And that requires on both sides, Democrat and Republican, a sense of seriousness and decorum and honesty."

"He's probably the worst president in the history of our country,"...

He does rank up there. And we gave him 2 terms, which would have been unthinkable in a sane America.

He stole the second one with voter fraud. And of course, Romney choked when Candy Crowley gave Obama an assist.

Yes, he’s perfectly capable - along with Jarrett - of attempting a coup. I still believe enough in America to know that this will not be allowed to happen.

This has to be the most entertaining politics has been in a while.

If elected, I doubt Trump is going to keep quiet about the green bathtub ring left behind by the First Destroyer and his junkyard dogs. Time to retire GW's Marquis of Queensbury Presidential style.

Hmmmm.

I am beginning to see a recurring theme in many of these morning headlines.

That causes shock and surprise amongst the newsies, the Dems and the Pubbie Elites. That causes roars of approval from many regular people in flyover country.

When was there a wannabe presidential candidate on the Republican side who did not roll over for the opposition?

Its actually quite possible. Its not hard to envision several scenarios how this could happen. All of a “temporary” nature naturally. Who would object to a few extra months to deal with an “extraordinary” crisis or allow time for the restoration of “national stability”? I don’t mean to be argumentative; just trying to keep things real. I mean, who would ever have thought that our president would help Iran to get the bomb? Who could foresee his willingness to walk all over the courts and congress? This man is capable of anything.

And it wouldn’t be difficult to achieve consensus for it with the right combination of public manipulation, Democrat support and Republican apathy.

In 18 months the freebies end. His welfare runs out and he is having a nervous breakdown.

“I want to make sure I’m turning over the keys to somebody who’s serious about the serious problems the country faces and the world faces.

He left out the clause, "...which I've created."

Lock and Load. We may have to burn down DC, but Obama is getting yanked out of office when his term expires. His statement makes sense if you view Obama as a mafia don. It is very hard for the head of a mafia to step down. He has people he is protecting, business arrangements that need protecting, kapeesh ?
