Do you really think that Ted thinks Obama would debate him? Ted’s smart. The challenge is the statement that ‘I will debate you on the substance of the Iran deal anywhere, anytime.’

Like you said, Obama won’t do it. There is more than one reason for that, but at least two that Ted can paint on him is that Obama is “yellow” and his Iran “deal” is weak. Any way to gig him and diminish his aura is good. I don’t see any reason to be snarky about it.
