"The nation and GOP are both suffering as a result of the unwillingness or inability of McConnell and Boehner to effectively defend either. Instead, these politicians are consumed with consolidating their own power on Capitol Hill and silencing opponents who dare to challenge their ironfisted rule. Sadly, they rarely act in the best interests of America’s future.

Indeed, time and again they have delivered victory after victory for Obama and his radical agenda — from spending, borrowing, and Obamacare to illegal immigration, Iran and “trade” power. Never before has a Congress controlled by one party been so thoroughly impotent. This is due to the disastrous leadership of McConnell and Boehner.

It is time for younger, wiser, and more courageous Republican leadership — constitutional conservatives who understand the role of a statesman in perilous times — who are willing to truly lead the nation and the Republican Party based on America’s enlightened principles, advance the cause of liberty and republican government, and make the case everyday to the American people."

Mark Levin carved them all a new one tonight.

Including all the people we worked our @$$es of to get in and give Mitch a Conservative Senate. What did we get, Ugatz.

That goes for Jonie Ernst and every other Senator, he named them all, the whole freakin' bunch of them are all disappointments. .

Who stood with Cruz, Lee and one other. Cotton stood up against the Iran deal. So out of 100 men and women what do we have, what 3, 4, 5, that actually give a crap about the Republic and the Constitution?

It is dark times...

“...nwillingness or inability of McConnell and Boehner ...”

More than a bit of both, I should think.

It’s time for Mark to admit he is past that “last inch” and resign from the Republicrat Party. There is no need to give a single one of all those scumbags ANY benefit of the doubt. THEY are the ones that but Turtleman and The Orange Weeper in positions of leadership.

I think that the Republican leadership was deliberately targeted, like Intelligence agencies do for recruitment - NSA electronic monitoring for blackmail material, agents artfully offering bribes or as sexual honeypots, and such.

They seem so thoroughly compromised.

Maybe an example was made of Dennis Hastert to prevent any of these valuable assets from resigning.

Just speculating.

The unseen powers calling the shots have a stranglehold on all our elected leaders with hardly any exceptions, as shown by recent votes. I don't know how to get rid of that nasty Boehner when the pubbies all vote for him every time. He has enough scandals to embarrass him out of office many times over, but the press won't mention a one of them. National “swiftboat” campaign? And who would replace him? Another traitor?

Lefties do not resign. As a showing of power, they just stay in office and keep on taking the country apart.
