Obama: Donald Trump Didn’t Force Me To Release My Birth Certificate

President Obama said he’s of his Kenyan heritage during his trip to that country, pointedly described himself as “the first Kenyan-American to be president” of the United States during a speech.

During an interview with Kenyan radio, the host asked Obama if he was worried about the reaction to his statement after he was “forced” to release his birth certificate.

“I wasn’t actually forced,” Obama interrupted. “I just wanted to end silly conversations – there weren’t any serious speculation, this was just sort of a side circus that sometimes happens in the United States.”

Obama released his birth certificate in April 2011, weeks after Donald Trump captivated the media by questioning the veracity of Obama’s birth in Hawaii.

Obama reminded the Kenyan audience in his interview was that the American people still believed that they were a “nation of immigrants.”

“We have Native Americans who were there from many years ago, but most people arrived from someplace else, and that continues to occur,” Obama said, calling his own heritage “a reflection of what makes America great.”

Barack H. 0bama released a birth certificates from two different Hawaiian hospitals.

This, to me, is very amusing.

There even exists a poll on this thread, the results of which, indicate that 62% of the people believe he was born in the USA. The fact is, he was naturalized a U.S. citizen in 1983, in California, under the name Barry Soetoro (formerly an Indonesian citizen).

That’s strange, since “Barack Obama” had an article published in the Columbia University Sundial newspaper on March 10, 1983 entitled “Breaking The War Mentality.”

Some thoughts on what the Donald said about 0 changing his name from Barry soetoro to Barack Hussein Obama.

How old was 0 when he did this?

If it was before 21, he could have gone with his parents ( in his case, parent) to the county courthouse and filed a simple form to change the name on his birth cert.

My mom did that to change her first name; she didn’t like the one her folks gave her, and she had informally used the one she liked during school years.

Her friend told her do it before she turned 21, otherwise it would take going to court.

Did 0 go to court to do this?

And what about the high school yearbooks that say “Barry Obama”?

Could 0 have told his classmates “I don’t like “Barack”, call me “Barry”?

Did his mom call him “Barry” instead if “Barack”?

Name changes without accompanying paperwork cause difficulties later on, if it isn’t done before 21.

One difficulty is when applying for a passport; the name on the birth cert needs to match the name currently in use, and if its different, then supporting docs need to be included showing the name change.

This happened to my mom, they wouldnt issue her a passport due to name discrepancy.

When she went ( before turning 21 ) to the county courthouse and filed paperwork to change the first name, they spelled her middle name with a “C” instead of a “K”.

Her driving license had the “K”, so in order to match it up, she had to file paperwork to correct the birth cert so it had the “K”.

She also had to send in a copy of her marriage doc (also on file with the county) to show the change from maiden name to married name.

Then she was able to get the passport.

Hey Barry, we all know why you skipped visiting your hometown while in Kenya ( making the residents angry over his snub ). Is it that you were too afraid that if you visited your hometown, the press would follow and one of them might bump into someone that had pictures of you as a baby there with your mother ?
