Forty to fifty Americans are fighting with Kurdish forces against ISIS
Retired US Marine Jordan Matson joined the YPG Kurdish fighters to fight ISIS in September 2014.
Jordan told Greta Van Susteren in February that there are 40-50 Americans fighting with Kurdish forces against ISIS.
He also said the Kurds are very hospitable to Christians and Yazidis.

Obama is way over his head. He’s focused on equal rights for gays in Africa.
Hmm... last yr a FReeper posted a youtube clip about Antichrist & Turkey, and then the Mystery of Babylon being Saudi Arabia...
Over 20 yrs ago, I saw a well-researched documentary on tv entitled "Prophecies of Nostradamus", talking about the Antichrist; back then the documentary said there are 3 'antichrists'; the first one was Napoleon, 2nd, Hitler, and 3rd we're yet to see/encounter.
Anyway, am unsure if Erdogan is the antichrist, or if SA is the mystery of babylon. But, even before Erdogan, and also now, a lot of Turks in Turkey think the Kurds want to takeover their land.
Trump has enough money to solicit a fix for the problem.
The kurds are communists of all varieties. Bomb away I say.
a) Weakens America/AmericansThere are NO counter examples.
b) Distances America's allies
c) Strengthens America's enemies
d) Serves Islam
e) Harms Israel
Or some combination of the above.
There is a great deal of mythology going around in Turkey about the Kurds.
BTW, the ones affiliated with YPG are the PKK. Once upon a time, during the Soviet Cold War era, the PKK were hardcore communists; nowadays, largely not the case. But, yes, OVERALL the Kurds are secular.
Personally I dont feel the Turks have any affinity towards the Persians, the Kurds,or the Assryians.
And, Arabs. The two main groups the Kurds can't stand are: Turks & Arabs.
The Persians have had their own 'doubts' about the Kurds, and vice versa - much more of a rivalry between the two than complete hatred or disdain, compared to Arabs & Turks.
A HUGE difference in those 'doubts' between the Persians, Turks, Arabs, and Kurds is that, ETHNICALLY, the Kurds are actually "Iranic", and 'officially' from Medes times, are related by bloodlines & heritage to the Persians. They also share a linguistic line & affinity with the Persians.
In that part of the world where many ordinary people have an acute understanding of their history, these 'little differences' matter, politics aside.
And, if we're wondering about "Islamist Kurds" and "Armenian genocide", read thru comments here especially #11 and #13

We have failed the Kurds so many times now ...
If Turkey attacked the Kurds form the rear, Greece couldn’t help.
Are you aware that Turkey used Kurds as shock troops to massacre Armenians and Greeks in the 1919 era? During that Armenian holocaust.
Do the job that the Amerikan state-run media and the Grand Old Party refuses to do.

McCain is a senator because of Sarah Palin.
**************************************************************************
Probably so....and now she’s repaid her “debt” to him and owes him NOTHING for 2016. McCain is going down in ignoble McShame defeat in the 2016 primary....unless the conservatives somehow blow it by running multiple conservative candidates.
I expect the 2016 campaign to be filled with dirty tricks such as running FAUX candidates in the primary to split the conservative vote and let McShame slip in with a plurality.
You’re SO correct!
