Riding a wave of non-stop publicity, a new poll this past week shows mogul Donald Trump solidly in first place among likely Republican primary and caucus voters nationwide. The new Zogby Analytics poll of 256 likely voters was conducted online July 22-23 shows Mr. Trump leading with the support of 20% of those polled.
He is followed by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush with 16%, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker 12%, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul 9%, neurosurgeon and author Dr. Ben Carson 7%, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee 6% each, Texas Senator Ted Cruz 5%, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie 3%, Ohio Governor John Kasich and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal 2%, and everyone else at 1% or less.
If dominating the airwaves is the name of the game, then Mr. Trump has got game. Mr. Bush leads among men with 21% to 17% for Mr. Paul, 16% for Mr. Walker, and 12% for Mr. Trump.

ted cruz is not at 5%. I don’t know how much more ridiculous these poll numbers are; don’t have to look any further than that.
Trump and Bush 2016?
LOLOL.
Where’s Pissed-off Perry?
LOL.
Looks like all that Trump hating from Perry did not work out very well.
Liberal Beta males yes. Men, no.
Cruz is from 4% to 9% in the last assortment of six polls at Real Clear Politics. Average of 5.7%.
Perry is a Superhero. Opposite Man. If you want a correct thing, he will give you the opposite to a good answer.
Exactly so.
Hating Trump is ALL Pissed-off Perry has.
He’s even running ads!
Who would vote to turn their country into North Mexico?
Who ARE these ¡Yeb! voters?
You're right. All the other polls have Cruz at 4%.
“Wheres Pissed-off Perry?”
Bandwidth costs money. If they list Perry, they’d have to list everyone in between, and that would likely crash their server - so they simply want to keep their site up.
Perry is still out there handing out in-state tuition credits to illegal aliens.
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Any Bush on the ticket means I won’t vote for them.
I noticed that too...
But this begs the question, if Zogby is applying the sauce to skew his polls, then are the polls right now believable?
You mean like Monmouth, etc? Those that actually poll Repulbicans? Oh, wait...
Cruz is in 8th place in this poll. Not good.
LOL.
Right.
In Nov 2012 in bright red Texas, Cruz got less votes and lower percentage of the vote than Mediocre Mitt. To me that’s not an indicator of huge voter appeal.
Realizing the guy is young and will potentially improve.
