“Well Bob not even those RINOs are calling for universal health care. It is quite a revealing statement by Trump.”

Since we are GUARANTEED Universal Healthcare if a Democrat or RINO wins, due to flooding this country with Democrat voters, I’d rather have Trump win, and then still have enough conservatives around to fight him on that.

If we lose the country demographically, it won’t matter what anyone on our side wants, we’ll simply be outvoted, IN EVERY ELECTION, for generations. So what’s wrong with fighting the demographic battle first?

I thought you may want to know. People don’t know Trump’s position on healthcare. First he’s for repealing Obamacare. So he’s going replace Obamacare with another Obamacare?? LoL. No that don’t make sense and of course not true.

Trump spoke with the Chicago Tribune Editorial Board a little over 3 weeks ago.

Trump goes into detail over his healthcare plan in this interview. He is for private market and free enterprise healthcare. He’s for “erasing state lines” where people in any state can buy their healthcare insurance in any other state, which will increase competition and keep prices competitive. Trump’s wants healthcare systems and hospitals to give healthcare to the poor without government subsidies if possible and have deals between hospitals to take care of them. In other words, using good old fashion charity.

Listen here around 55 minutes into the interview where he discusses healthcare.

Thanks - glad to hear. It definitely sounds like Trump has thought this through, a lot, over the years (unlike Rick Perry in 2012, LOL).

You’re welcome. His opponents take his “taking care of the poor” sound bite to mean more of ObamaCare, but Trump’s in depth interview with the Chicago Tribune dispels this misconception.

Our so called leaders are only interested in looting America and fleecing us.

So, you think a guy who supports Kelo, uses government power of eminent domain to seize property for businesses, supports corporate cronyism and paying off politicians for favors is the guy to fix that??

Our government is inviting thousands upon thousands of people into this country that want to kill us.

And you think the guy who said 3 weeks ago that if they work hard and stay off welfare they should be allowed to stay, is going to fix that?

Trump is a liberal.

Trumps sole purpose is to steal the wind from the sails of actual conservatives like Ted Cruz so that Jeb sails through with the nomination. Remember when Jeb said he didn't really need to win any primary majorities to get the nomination? This was probably the strategy he was thinking of.

You know Geron I keep hearing that about the Perot effect or maybe he’s just in it to split the vote for Jeb.

When I first heard that Trump was running, Perot was the first thing that popped into my mind.

I was really skeptical.

I don’t see anyone else to vote for aside from Ted Cruz. I like what Trump is saying a whole lot. I like Ted Cruz for fighting back too.

I really hope Trump is sincere.

If he isn’t, I think it will be the last straw.

It’s a long time until primary season.

Trump might be long gone by then.

I don’t really trust any of them anymore.

The last one that was supposed to change everything was Rubio.

Pfffft.

One after another, each shining new conservative star gets pulled into the swamp.

It’s such a letdown.

I think what is happening with Trump is people are getting their hope back that yes, maybe we can still fight back.

I have a little bit of hope once again that things can get turned around.

But hope can be a very dangerous thing sometimes.

The system is broken.

Hell, maybe it’s too late to fix it all.

I’m willing to give either Trump or Cruz a chance.

We’ll see.

Trump backed single payer health care. He is also for higher taxes and was pro-abortion. To me health care, taxes and abortion are very important issues and Trump is a liberal democrat on those issues. Having said all that I am not necessarily against Trump and welcome what he is saying on illegal immigration and some other things. It is refreshing and he is being helpful right now.

Bear in mind that much of the NH Tea Party are mostly Libertarians who moved there. What it doesn’t allow for is the vast change that happened, not just to Trump but to many other parties as well. Obama’s years have been a real eye opener. I know Democrats who are unabashedly supporting Trump. I know people who haven’t voted in years registering to vote. We have all changed since the GOPe betrayals and now this evil tenure of his majesty on the thrown.
Do not judge merely on statements from years ago. As for incumbents, their votes are there for all to see.

Red Steel is right, I saw Trump say the same thing in a speech recently, I think more than once. He wants Obamacare repealed, replace it with a market based option, everything Red Steel posted. And he said we have to take care of those who can’t...we have to we have to we have to... is what he said. I think it was Phoenix. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard him say more than once he wants Obamacare repealed. That’s the only time I recall him adding any details for sure, he may have and I don’t remember it.

Trump wants healthcare systems and hospitals to give healthcare to the poor without government subsidies if possible and have deals between hospitals to take care of them. In other words, using good old fashion charity.

This is what he is advocating, but there's just a couple of problems with that. There's nothing good or old fashioned about it. Charity is giving people in your community limited help. It isn't providing broad health care services across the nation for free.

Rooms, food, physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, nurses aides, maternity, staffing, central supply, housekeeping, orderlies, plant services, maintenance, equipment (multi-million on down), medications, Pixis machines, computers, IT Services, surgeries, physical therapy, inhalation therapy, radiology, cat scans, other testing, GI Labs, Cath Labs, Emergency Rooms, supplies, billing, records and charting, accreditation costs, accounting, staffing, chaplains, social workers, secretaries, an administration, and stuff I just forgot to mention... they all cost money.

Politicians seem to think that hospitals operate in some alternate universe where the concept of money hasn't been invented yet.

Health care is not free. Hospitals can't just eat the costs of health care for 45 million people.

Maybe they've seen too many movies where the person gets out of the cab without paying.

Every time I see this sort of comment by people, I just look down and shake my head.

I support his private enterprise plans, but when he gets to this, it reveals significant ignorance on this aspect of his plan.

How about compiling the “facts” on which of the other GOP candidates voing records have actually aided the Dems in destroying the country. Voting to raise the Debt Ceiling, confirming liberal judges, confirming unfit department heads, etc. You’ll find they’ve caused more damage than Trump’s money.

“He is for private market and free enterprise healthcare. “

Yes he is. He also talked about opening insurance monopolies to expand across state lines. THat is a smart business move. Opens up competition that would keep lower prices for those buying insurance.

From what I can see, this article site is either purposely lying or not informed. It certainly has a agenda. Propaganda?

You are free to believe that. I disagree. Trump is an American. He might be rich but he is one of us. He is a patriot. He knows more about DC corruption than all of us put together.

He is against globalism. He supports a strong nation with the return of manufacturing and JOBS. Good jobs. Full time jobs with fair wages so that the middle class can rise once again.

He wants a flat tax.

\He will abolish whole departments and cut the rest down to size and they WILL function. The corruption will end.
That adds up to smaller government and he also wants to return power to the states.

He understands the devastation that illegal aliens have caused and the high price of them taking benefits for American citizens so businesses can privatize the profit while American taxpayers subsidize the costs.

He is pro-NRA. Supports gun owners.

He doesn’t want Iran armed with nukes which will ensure WW3. He wants to totally revamp the VA so that our military has the best care available and not die while waiting in huge lines.

He is already leading. He forced Obama to lower the flag on the Capitol buidlding by simply stating that he had already lowered the flags on his properties. It took Obama 5 days before he would lower the flags to honor our Marines. And yeah, he wants ALL the military armed. As they should be.

According to Steinle’s brother, Obama has not called the family, but Trump has called and talked to them many times.

THe other allegations just mean Trump is a smart business man. You try opening a business anywhere and see how successful you are. There are PTB on every level and the
palms have to be greased or you will be denied. That is business. It’s the way it works. He wants to change that too. He hates to have to bribe ptb just to do business.

He still has to get rid of ObotCare first then go back to the market system. I do believe Trump thinks he can come up with innovative ways without much government subsidization. Who knows he may have a few. It’s still a long ways before we get to that Rubicon.

If he can come up with a creative way to accomplish the task without putting more strain on our health care system, I’ll all for it. I don’t really want the government picking it up either. If a lot of the uninsured are illegal immigrants, then send them home.

Get the rest of the people back to work so they can buy their own insurance.

Actually the most important fact is, if the GOP wants to lose to HIllary they will nominate him since he polls the worst of any candidates against her. I think they want to lose, they always do.
