I could live with a “President Trump”
Personally, I would like to see him as vice president to a President Cruz.
Trump is extreme conservative on these issues:
1. Illegals
2. Military
3. Veterans
4. Foreign trade (biggest factor in lack of jobs here)
5. Obamacare (Trump will cancel Obamacare with executive order and propose private sector cost effective healthcare)
6. Balanced budgets
7. Iran
8. ISIS
9. Infra structure
That is enough conservative for me.
Minute Memo #124 - Trump Slams Reporter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c7D77JtuhE
“Donald Trump’s going to be the Republican candidate.”
It certainly now appears that way, and it looks as if the media and even people on this site are starting to accept it.
It’s basically, now, Trump’s to lose. He can step into it by going against us on a core issue, like gun rights, but he hasn’t yet showed any signs of doing that.
I wish the border patrol would have told their council to take their threats of “problems” and shove them where the sun don’t shine.
Trump - Sanders would present a pretty stark choice as would Cruz - Sanders without mixing in all the faux feminism that obscures everything. Cruz would not be so obviously humiliating of The Woman, more like a raised eyebrow and a half smile, I think.
If you let them in, they would vacuum your carpets with your old vacuum, then re-vacuum with theirs and show you how much dirt your old vacuum was leaving behind and how much better their high-dollar vacuum is than yours.
If you still weren't convinced, they'd even vacuum your bedspread and mattress and gross you out by showing you how much dead skin and such you were sleeping in that's now inside their high-dollar vacuum.
And even if you didn't buy their machine, though many usually did, your house got vacuumed and they left you in better shape than you were before they showed up.
Trump is like one of those guys. He came to the door and has done a free demo to prove the worth of what he's selling.
And, even if we don't buy what he's selling, he still cleaned the carpets for free and now we're in better shape simply for his having been here.
Now people's curiosity and interest are very high, since what he's selling is both effective and clearly better than what we've got now.
Bottom line? People are ready to buy.
That's how it's done the old-fashioned way, with a demonstration to show it's not snake oil.
Democrats fear Trump I believe.
I was at a funeral yesterday in NE Ohio.
Three of my idiot liberal union member distant relatives went out of their way to seek me out and deliver rants about how bad Trump is.
The left has definitely mobilized their troops vs. Trump.
Trump is the biggest “politician” running. He’s flip flopped more than his good friend Bill Clinton’s mistresses.
Trump and his counsel need to start considering how they are going to field the “big bad Trump kicked granny out of her house” eminent domain questions. The press will pounce on that.
Well if Trump keeps highlighting all the hot button issues and stays out of the weeds he could very well get the nomination. We and our whole family on both sides are pretty much ready to vote for him. We need a drastic change.
Looks like the race will come down to those who have done things and not all talk, Trump and Walker.
Wait, so is he staying a Republican or running Third Party?
He has been all over the board on this issue...it shows the mentality of Trump.
A man of integrity would run as a Republican to BEAT the establishment, not run Third Party or toy with the idea to help elect Hillary.
