I could live with a “President Trump”
Personally, I would like to see him as vice president to a President Cruz.
I agree with that. At least Trump doesn’t backtrack, make excuses, and grovel when he makes a mistake. A leader with balls. I’d prefer Cotton as the veep to Cruz, but he can still do good work in his position. Eight years from now, Cotton? We’ll see.
Well, we could certainly do a LOT worse - looking at you Jeb, Huckster, Rubio, Christie, Kasich, Graham et al.
I can’t get past the fact that Trump has completely misdiagnosed the cause of the 2008 financial crash.
For me, that’s a major deal killer.
I think that Trump will win the nomination and Cruz the VP. Then, if they win, after a few years Trump will step down letting Cruz become President. Win win for everyone. :)

I agree, but because Trump seems to do so well there could be four years of Trump with a VP Cruz followed by 8 years of President Cruz.
So far it appears Cruz and Trump really like each other.
