His opponents are trying to figure out a way to "get rid of the guy," says the legendary comic. "Its going to reach the point that, pretty soon, sooner or later, one guy is going to take a gun and shoot him.
Jackie Mason, the 84-year-old Jewish comedian who has morphed into a political commentator, is warning the many GOP presidential hopefuls that they attack Donald Trump at their own peril.
In a pre-taped radio appearance scheduled to air Sunday, Mason refers to the Republican field as Trumps "perfectly calculated opponents, who study and struggle to protect every word."
Trump, on the other hand, is a "bombastic powerhouse" and a "colorful, dynamic character."
In his interview, posted by The Hollywood Reporter ahead of its airing on Aaron Klein Investigative Radio in New York and Philadelphia, Mason will also excoriate the media for not understanding Trumps appeal.
"He never even prepares what he is going to say and every time he talks he says something wrong that offends everybody, and 10 minutes later he gets more popular," says Mason, now one of the nations few comedians to publicly defend Trump.
Far more common is Trump as comedic whipping boy. "Today, Trump went to Texas to visit the border between U.S and Mexico and, this is very interesting, when he got there, other Republicans pushed him over the border," Jimmy Fallon joked Thursday night on NBC. After Fallon, Seth Meyers made Trump the butt of his jokes on six occasions during his one-hour show, according to research firm TVEyes. And Jon Stewart has made a running joke of Trump for days on Comedy Central.
The major Trump controversies Mason (and everyone else who talks about him) refers to are the presidential hopefuls reference to illegal Mexican immigrants as "rapists" and his assertion that Sen. John McCain, who spent five years in a North Vietnamese POW camp, is "not a war hero."
The media keeps saying, according to Mason, that if Trump "makes another mistake hell be wiped out. Then, two weeks later he makes a bigger mistake. This is the most offensive mistake of all time, and everybody is celebrating. 'Thank God hes finished.' Headlines in every paper: 'Its all over.' Two minutes later hes even bigger."
Trumps GOP rivals are "disgusted" by him, says Mason. Mimicking their sentiments, he says: "He has no right to run for office. He has no right to be commander in chief. He has no right to exist. He should have passed away last Thursday. He has no right to even live on this Earth."
"You cant even remember who said it, because the guy who said it is wiped out and is going down in the polls every day," Mason warns. "They are saying, 'What do we have to do to get rid of this guy?' Its going to reach the point that, pretty soon, sooner or later, one guy is going to take a gun and shoot him."

I like to listen to Fiorina, but, won’t vote for her. She refuses to go on Mark Levin’s show, and has been invited several times. She also sucked up to McCain during her run for Senate. She is necessary though, because she can attack the Hildebeast without being called anti-woman.
From just the other day ... He was impressed.
Mark Levin interviews Carly Fiorina part 1 (part 2 is posted on the same page)
Cheers ~
From the get go I have thought that, if Trump gets “too far” along toward the presidency it would behoove the uniparty to kill him. Total control is what is at stake here. The uniparty has a great cakewalk going, perhaps the greatest in all of recorded history. Trump is a bull in the china shop.
I don’t know if I would call this an endorsement. It sounds to me like he is basically finding it entertaining how Trump is driving everyone else nuts. Thats about the only thing I see in Trump myself. I know what he really is. But I don’t care. He’s forcing the real irritations of Americans onto the normally insulated RINO’s who under normal circumstances, wouldn’t have to talk about this stuff at all. What needs to happen is Trump keeping the stink pot stirred up, then eventually dropping out and endorsing Cruz. One can hope...
I believe she was on Levin’s show last week.
Why would she not get on Mark’s show? She went on Whoopi’s?
It’s really cool when you look at people like Trump and Cruz. They can and will go before any group anywhere and speak to the crowd in their language. ANY CROWD RADIO OR TV.
I think Rand Paul and Ben Carson could do that also for the most part.
The rest? Probably not.
How about this for a third party ticket...Trump/Clinton. As VP she would cause any problems for anyone, and in fact you’d keep her from causing any trouble.
I agree with many things posted here esp by you. Read what I put up yesterday.

We saw Mason live at a comedy club. I laughed until I hurt myself!
Thank-you.
I read your thread....
.....even Rush thinks something has happened to light this fire under Trump....
don’t know what the epiphany or ‘ah hah’ moment was....
...but I ‘m personally hoping he is starting to see the light, and as a visionary knows he is being used to truly help make America great again.
We hunger for a leader!
And then Trump will go up in the polls.
Whoever decides to shoot Trump knows full well that it would be a suicide mission. However, I do believe that there will be someone that will make an attempt to do just that. There are many groups that would wish this. There are the “REPUBLICAN ELITES”, “DEMOCRAT LIBERAL, SOCIALIST and COMMUNIST”, “PRO-OPEN IMMIGRATION GROUP”. I’m sure the list would be more than that. But one thing I’m sure of, the lame stream media would immediately blame the TEA PARTY.
I always thought Sullivan was a miserable person. When he smiled, it looked like his face was going to crack. But I will say this: his show provided real entertainment and plenty of variety. You may not like every act, but you could find something entertaining. Not like what passes as entertainment these days.
Shooting him might be too obvious. I’m waiting for the headline, “Trump was found this morning having mysteriously died.” Or maybe they’ll say it was a heart attack or something.
I hope I’m wrong.
Transportation trouble maybe.
Sometimes God seems to pick out “losers” to elevate. Trump is a billionaire, but he has twice been bankrupt as well. Moses, full of human zeal for his people, yet did not begin to know the Lord well until he met the burning bush.
Fiorina is a mixed bag.
And it may be mixed bags that the Lord is preparing to elevate to be part of a movement to bring a wave of loyalty, love, and ultimately righteousness back to America.
If we remember the show really is about God, and that the temporary primacy of people is only thus through sin, we can begin to appreciate some things we might otherwise reject. Our guts say that if people’s pride goes away, we are left with... nothing. But our guts lie in that case. They know nothing of the wonders of God.
For 1.2 billion of the earth's occupiers, that is a big plus.
Given the recent news reports about today's government Secret Service, I'd wager that Trump's private protection force is a lot better.
I wonder if he's ever tried German-Chinese food.
Half an hour later you're hungry...
...for power!
Thank you, thank you, I'll bee here all week, try the veal...
I never had problems understanding him, but then, I was born in Brooklyn. :-)
