Further excerpt:

"He is, they say, currently circulating a petition to go around the Senate leaders and force a vote on defunding Planned Parenthood anyway. Paul is calling pro life leaders to join him in this crusade, and some pro life leaders are already whispering that this may be the perfect time to strike at Planned Parenthood. If he succeeds, it would of course be a massive rebuke of McConnell’s leadership of the GOP majority in the Senate—and that it’s even come to this is extraordinary considering that McConnell and all Republicans nationwide just last year campaigned on the promise that giving Republicans the GOP majority in the Senate would mean the place would run differently from the way it ran under Reid’s leadership and Democratic control."

Love this. This boldness may have been keynoted by Mr
Trump. No one can knock what he has done if they want any move at all toward challenging the statist control of our land! Good going, Rand.

Looks like junior did good today.

He might be the third piece of the puzzle. I’m hoping Carly gets some religion on infanticide and joins up. She’d be a fine addition.

But as Senator Cruz bravely pointed out this morning, the Senate has been run by McConnell in precisely the same way as Reid. Paul is still a scoundrel to the American people for his covering fraud on the Vitter subpoena that would lead to arrests and incarceration in Congress. But if he stays quiet and fights McConnell successfully offering no quarter, then he will have helped win the war against the Cartel. As for his presidential campaign, it is a joke. It's nothing more than others who are looking for a fattened paycheck. Yes, running for president allows under the rules to open up accounts from which to pay oneself, and to do it repeatedly. That is why so many who will poll less than 1% from now until next year are running for president, because there's money in it. Let's see how much fight there is in the problem boy from Kentucky.

So many of us are celebrating watching Planned Parenthood being brought down finally, but we must not forget there are many women out there having had abortions that are watching these videos and most probably hurting inside as to what they did. Prayers need to be offered up for these women.

The way to de-fund it was to leave it out of the budget. If they were serious about de-funding, thats how you do it.

As it is, this sounds like a show-vote that would be simply vetoed by the president. Or am I wrong?
