Joe Scarborough just nailed the GOP's Donald Trump problem

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough wrote a lengthy Facebook post on Tuesday about real-estate magnate Donald Trump and whether the Republican establishment should challenge his controversial presidential campaign.

"Trump will always be Trump, and there is no need for anyone in the Republican establishment to think otherwise. The best they can do is ride this wave of dissatisfaction and learn a lesson or two from it," Scarborough wrote.

Scarborough, a former Republican congressman and host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," wrote that if front-running GOP candidates truly fear that Trump will harm their party, they should take it upon themselves to bring him down.

"But anyone looking for salvation from party leaders or major money players are looking in the wrong place. The burden of dethroning the Donald falls on GOP politicians like Jeb Bush, Scott Walker and others who have politely played by the old rules of an outdated political system that is no longer relevant to most Americans," he wrote. "The longer Trump's opponents play it safe, the longer Trump will continue his political ascent."

Elitist upon elitist, layer upon layer. Pink shirt wearing “republican” tv elitists have ideas about what we should like in a candidate, and offers advice as to how his elitist buddies should attack and destroy some other candidate not on the team. PUKE.

Anyone who would vote for a guy that gave a nickel to the likes of the Clintons and even Anthony Weiner deserves what they get. I’m amazed any conservative would look at the guy any not see what an opportunist the guy is.

It’s the same old If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Somewhere the RP figured out that if they shut the hell up, they’d be as rich and corrupt and protected from law like the Democrats. I can only hope that the carpetbagger economy collapses upon their heads.

How about getting rid of Trump by espousing the issues that he brings attention to, the issues that people care about and that most GOP politicians, especially Jeb Bush and Rubio, seem to not give a darn about?

Exactly. The shortcut to that idea is supporting Ted Cruz.

Allow me to summarize:

The people that knowingly and willingly put lesser evils into GOP power are righteously upset that they got what they elected: Liberals and evil.

Now, as a result of getting the very thing they wanted (One does not vote for what one does not want and no one was fooled, tricked or lied to as Mitch and Jonbon told them they would work with Barry if elected) into the GOP they cast about randomly for someone, anyone, to save them from their own bad choices.

Trump, knowing that sheep are easily manipulated, takes advantage of the situation and on cue, he’s the latest salvation for America because the very fools responsible for the problem in the first place (by electing one set of liberals) now demands another.

The above is an accurate and historically documented reality.

But we should still support the current crop of Republicans in Congress who continue to pass Obama's leftist agenda, and the current crop of Republican presidential candidates who'll continue the same status-quo, right?

Cruz can’t pull that off. He’s no Trump and people may want Cruz’s conservatism but they want Trump’s in your face character more. Trump wins in that match up. Who’s the baddest? Trump. Cruz is a boy scout by comparison. Speaking for myself, I don’t want a boy scout for president, I want the bull in the china shop, Trump.

Trump can be taken out easily when someone start using their brain.

I bet no one here knows that Trump wants universal healthcare ? didn't know that? well start thinking about issues and stop cheering someone just because they are willing to fight.

Trump wants to scrap Obamacare and replace it with Universal Healthcare. And that's just ONE issue.

Trump is distracting us from the issues that matter with his demeanor

Do think the Republicans are so stupid they would kick Trump out of the Convention if he had a commanding lead going in?

I could actually see that happening. Remember, we're talking about the party of stupid.

Right now, I'm for Cruz, but I am enjoying Trump stirring the pot.

Absurd premises. The Republican Party does NOT have a Donald Trump problem. The Republican Party has a GOPe problem. The Republican Party has a RINO problem. There is plenty I don't agree with Donald Trump on(abortion etc), but he has single handedly taken illegal immigration, heinous crimes by Mexican illegals, and securing our boarders the front and center of the GOP primaries and energized the angry frustrated Republican base like no one was able to before he entered the race. The GOPe are the ones that need to go away, not Trump.

Today’s polls show how weak Hillary really is. She’s behind Republican candidates badly in three battle ground states. We can get the POTUS without the mercurial, shifty and shifting Donald.
