How long before the military goes vegan?
Bon Appetit!
For the non-Navy types out there, the cake dryer is a highly classified thermodynamic engine of sorts. It transfers most of the heat intended for your laundry into any baked dessert product in the galley. The primary result is that a piece of cake has slightly less moisture than a cup of sand from the Sahara desert. The secondary result is that your laundry comes back in wet, stuck together wad.
Very likely this is bad nutritional advice. The old taboos on saturated fats have just about been rejected. Sugar and too many rich carbohydrates are the villains in the obesity problem. Cut back on those and most problems would shrink away.
As long as your diet is properly balanced among proteins, carbs, and fats (far more carbs than you’d think, especially for people who work out everyday) then you’re fine.
Leave it to the left to suck the life out of every possible pleasure they can, especially for the people who will die in the line of duty in our defense, who are too young to really be hurt by the evil fried food...
Jacka$$es.
yes, it’s old but it’s gold and provides comic relief- lasts 3:41

The typical American diet is not properly balanced as to carbs. Not even close. Someone who drinks soft drinks, eats frequent desserts and high carb snacks, and frequent portions of potatoes, rice, beans, pasta, etc., will inevitably be taking in far too many carbs and be overweight unless they are more actively physically than about 95% of the population.
So what you’re telling us is that thete will be no more Sh!t on a Shingle?
A more in-dept study would probably have revealed that any weight problems have as much or more to do with what the sailors (and everyone else) are eating and drinking between meals, and not just the three squares per day.
Them soldier boys gonna be planting gardens around Mexican refugees houses pretty soon.
You can poke a bloke but there’s no makin’ bacon!
Talk about conflicting goals
I stopped at a soft serve ice cream shop while on the road today. I ordered a dollop of soft serve with chocolate jimmies on top. Apparently the jimmies were of the newly dictated variety devoid of trans fats. No mouth feel whatsoever and it wouldn’t have been crunchier if you’d sprinkled it with raw sugar instead of jimmies. The government is an ass, an intrusive ass.
“Un-fermented soy couldnt be worse for you.”
Indeed. And whole milk is more healthy for you than skim.
I agree, Mears. Skim milk is hideous. I’d rather drink pond water.
Regards,
Soy is evil. Horrible for both men and women.
It is most likely the main cause of the increase of thyroid issues.

I do like almond, cashew and coconut milks. I can’t drink white milk without flavoring or sweeteners added because of an incident when I was about 5.
And you might as well be drinking water for any milk less than 2%.
Look on the bright side - it’ll help the transsexuals maintain their figures.
Yeah, I agree. I got my macros looked at in conjunction with my activity level and I was directed to take in 3400 calories (broken down to 425g of carbs, 100g of fat, and 200g of protein) every training day and 2400 calories (175g of carbs, the rest unchanged) every recovery day. At first it was really hard hitting those numbers, especially the carbs on the recovery days. It's amazing how many carbs are in foods folks will pound back without thinking twice about it.
