The June 26 Supreme Court ruling is being hailed as a victory for inclusivity, tolerance and love.
It is also being described as a long-sought destination — a place where the soldiers of “marriage equality” could rest and savor their hard-won gold star of normalcy.
It is already proving to be neither of these things. The soldiers aren’t resting. They’re reaching for more. Not more equality and normality, mind you, but more destruction and desecration of cultural institutions they blame for their unhappiness.
The U.S. military is an enormous cultural institution that has been under relentless attack recently, and now the gay marriage ruling has spurred at least one angry-sounding fellow, Mikey Weinstein of the oddly named Military Religious Freedom Foundation, to demand the sacking of any military chaplain who does not embrace gay marriage.
Yes, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation wants to ostracize people … over their freely held religious beliefs.

My father was an Army infantryman in WWII. He stated that homosexuals did not last in basic training; that the flaming ones washed out. I’m not saying that a few weren’t able to endure; but the soldiers going into combat meant business. They didn’t have time for foolishness. Daddy’s outfit landed in N. Africa, then from there on to Sicily, Italy & Germany (just as fast & furious as they could go). The world quickly became a very serious place back then; as it could very well do very quickly today. In fact, it has if one just glances around the world today.

If a federal act is not constitutional (most, probably more than 80%, are not), then it is an act of tyranny which each individual state MUST reject and nullify. NOW! PERIOD!

The SCOTUS ruling on gay marriage means nothing. There is no difference in impact, social, spiritual, moral or otherwise when sex people are living together whether married or not. The ruling is simply fresh red meat thrown to distract people from the SCOTUS ruling on state subsidies for obamacare.

Could that be because they have become supporters of a Political Philosophy instead of the defenders of our Constitution? I think so... Seems that our old and outdated Constitution has reached its limits, as has our freedoms.

They no longer go by the Constitution which they vowed to uphold. We are in a transition here where the Constitution means whatever the current political power in charge decides what it means. That of course means that we not longer have a Constitution since it is meaningless. Yea, not looking good for the sustainability of the Country...
