I take issue with the word “incendiary,” and the phrase “GOP faithful.” The GOP faithful resent Trump, and Trumps’ presence, and Trump’s message.

It’s a start.

If Mexico refuses to pay, then we deny the equivalent amount of Mexican business.

Pretty soon, Mexico will make attempts to stop migration here and may even build their own fence to keep their economy flowing

FROM SLATE WE GET THE LIBERAL TAKE ON THIS EVENT>>>>>
___

Ever the showman, Trump made fun of his rivals for the White House and mocked the companies that have cut ties with him over his recent comments. “Thousands and thousands of people are cutting up their Macy’s credit card. I love it,” he said. Trump also called Hillary Clinton “the worst secretary of State in the history of our country.” He also expressed surprise at a poll that showed him tied with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush for the Republican vote. “How could I be tied with this guy? He’s terrible!” Trump said.

What qualifies Trump to be president? “I’m really smart,” he said. In fact, he’s so smart that as soon as he were to move in to the White House he could solve problems in no time at all. Reuters summarizes:

He told the crowd he would be able to get hostages returned “in an hour” and would tax Mexico each time someone crossed the border illegally. He said he could convince the head of Ford Motor Co to move a plant back to the United States from Mexico overnight, with a couple of phone calls.

“It’s so simple,” he said.

About 20 minutes into the speech a group of protesters interrupted the real estate mogul but were immediately drowned out by supporters shouting “U-S-A! U-S-A!” reports the Arizona Republic. “I wonder if the Mexican government sent them over here. I think so,” Trump said. “Don’t worry, we’ll take out country back.”

Trump is defining the polar opposite of a GOPe who is PC and ‘wants to get along’.

Citizens want this.

FROM WASHINGTON POST BEFORE THE PHOENIX RALLY>>>
__

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2015/07/11/donald-trump-wont-stop-talking-about-immigration-next-stop-phoenix/

Donald Trump won’t stop talking about immigration. Next up: Rallying 9,000 in Phoenix.

Ignoring a plea from the Republican Party chairman to tone down his rhetoric, Trump plans to rally more than 9,000 supporters here in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who built a national profile with his aggressive efforts to hunt down and deport undocumented immigrants in the Phoenix area, will join him on stage.

In remarks at the downtown Phoenix Convention Center, Trump plans to renew his vow to build an impenetrable wall across the U.S.-Mexico border and to attack by name several Republican presidential candidates as weak on immigration, according to people with knowledge of Trump’s plans.

The Trump event, hosted by the Maricopa County Republican Party, has invited a barrage of criticism — from the city’s Democratic leaders, local business executives and more mainstream Republican office holders, such as Arizona’s two senators, John McCain and Jeff Flake, who believe his language about an issue as sensitive as immigration is far too explosive.

I heard him say $1,000. I think it’s an awesome idea.

VIA POLITICO (WHICH I DESPISE)
________

Donald Trump storms Phoenix

Arizona speech draws protesters and thousands of cheering supporters.

By Ben Schreckinger

7/11/15 7:57 PM EDT

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Most other candidates would have folded. Some might have doubled down. On Saturday, Donald Trump tripled down.

After refusing to back off during weeks of fierce backlash for his comments about the alleged criminality of undocumented Mexican immigrants, Trump met on Friday in Beverly Hills with the families of people killed by such immigrants. A day later, he came to Arizona and said, “We have to stop illegal immigration. We have to. We have to,” to the cheers of 4,000 supporters.

On Monday, RNC Chairman Reince Preibus called Trump to congratulate him on his success and reportedly ask him to “tone it down.”

But Donald Trump only tones it in one direction: up.

“I love the Mexican people … I respect Mexico … but the problem we have is that their leaders are much sharper, smarter and more cunning than our leaders, and they’re killing us at the border,” said Trump, in front of a giant American flag at the Saturday afternoon rally at the Phoenix convention center. He added, “They’re taking our jobs. They’re taking our manufacturing jobs. They’re taking our money. They’re killing us.”

At one point, Trump brought a man named Jamiel Shaw up to the podium to talk about his late son, explaining, “an illegal immigrant shot him violently.”

Hate to point this out, but the President does not have, and should not have, the authority to arbitrarily fine Americans, much less foreign sovereign governments.

If we “fined” Mexico $100,000 for each of say, 8M illegal aliens, that would come to $800,000,000,000.

Which would put a big dent in our deficit.

if the fines are deducted from funds appropriated to be paid to Mexico, ok

otherwise, it is pissing in the wind

I see nothing wrong with fining Mexico because they are coercing their people to come here and steal from us.This immigration,Illegal and otherwise has to stop until we absorb and socialize what we have already.

We need a ten year moratorium on immigration and then when it begins again we should only accept those people who are a benefit to this country and first world people.People who have things in common with us.

We as Americans insist on that.

President Obama and his administration are 'stupid'

It is about time someone said it. I don't believe Trump can do everything he says, but he is fun to watch...

Taxing the remittances going from US to Mexico to pay these fines is a good way to collect the fine, as well as dissuade them from continuing to work here to earn money.

All I can say is Mexico didn’t print a comic book explaining how to cross the border and collect benefits for their best and brightest!

So how would he collect?

What does really intelligently mean? Does it exclude those who cross without Mexican government help?

What authority does the President of the United States have to impose a “fine” on Mexico?

“Trump said that Mexico had been allowed to get away with the scheme because they are ‘smart’ and President Obama and his administration are ‘stupid’ - a situation which can only be fixed if he leads the charge to ‘take back our country’.”

Dear Trump:

You’re gonna need a bigger bodyguard.

One way to get this done, why don’t we skim off the top of all those Western Union wire transfers to Mexico?

Take a small portion, like 70%. And call it a tax like Roberts calls the 0care premiums - liberals and GOPe are fine with that reasoning already, right?

Or simply confiscate their oil. I know Michael Savage suggested we do that years ago.

I think withholding a portion of the WU monies will be easiest and most reliable.
