Taxing the remittances going from US to Mexico to pay these fines is a good way to collect the fine, as well as dissuade them from continuing to work here to earn money.

All I can say is Mexico didn’t print a comic book explaining how to cross the border and collect benefits for their best and brightest!

So how would he collect?

What does really intelligently mean? Does it exclude those who cross without Mexican government help?

What authority does the President of the United States have to impose a “fine” on Mexico?

That’s actually probably close to the total number of aliens, legal and illegal.

Unless you have evidence to prove your point, not just an assertion.

“Trump said that Mexico had been allowed to get away with the scheme because they are ‘smart’ and President Obama and his administration are ‘stupid’ - a situation which can only be fixed if he leads the charge to ‘take back our country’.”

Dear Trump:

You’re gonna need a bigger bodyguard.

Indeed. That fact has been long known by those paying attention. Which seems to be you, me and a handful of others.

The GOP faithful resent Trump (etc....blah, blah, blah)

The "GOP faithful" are the party elite backstabbers who troll us little folks for votes and promise to be less evil than their opponents.

Trump put real people on stage, talking about how the issue of illegals in the US has destroyed their lives. As one of them said, most of them would like to be Trump, and they (we) support him when he takes risks and speaks for us.

No one will be left standing in this primary race who choses to insult Trump.

I believe those fines would be an ongoing, future thing, and my guess is they actually could come from aid we earmark for Mexico each year—but that likely could fall under the president’s discretion. If not, there are certainly other steps that could be taken through new legislation or an amended trade deal.

The point is an incredibly valid one however—Mexico has been aiding and abetting the invasion for years, and we don’t do a thing about it. We have allowed ourselves to become global chumps.

Border Patrol reports.

The infamous “11 Million” illegals has been used for the last 25 years...and useful idiots continue to believe the lie.

Common sense tells one the BP is correct with their 40 MILLION.

One way to get this done, why don’t we skim off the top of all those Western Union wire transfers to Mexico?

Take a small portion, like 70%. And call it a tax like Roberts calls the 0care premiums - liberals and GOPe are fine with that reasoning already, right?

Or simply confiscate their oil. I know Michael Savage suggested we do that years ago.

I think withholding a portion of the WU monies will be easiest and most reliable.

I remember all those times you questioned where Obama got the authority to do unconstitutional things.

Oh wait; no I don’t.

The 11M is from 03, which was not 25 years ago.

I agree accurate estimates are difficult to come by, but that’s no reason to pick a number out of the air.

The BP groups I’ve seen estimate around 20M, not 40M.

Ignoring a plea from the Republican Party chairman to tone down his rhetoric

Has this ever been conclusively proven one way or the other? Trump says he was congratulated by the Chairman.

The first sounds more likely but if not, you can always count on the media to promote a lie if it fits their agenda.
