Trump takes incendiary immigration views to GOP faithful: Tycoon says he would fine 'cunning' Mexico $100,000 for every illegal immigrant who crosses border in order to 'take back our country'

At the second address in Phoenix, Trump unveiled his plan, under which he would hold the government responsible for those who crossed the border, and charge them a fee for each person.

He said: 'Every time Mexico - really intelligently - sends people over we charge Mexico $100,000 for every person they send over.

Republican frontrunner spoke at events in Las Vegas and Phoenix, Arizona Railed against government of Mexico for 'sending' people 'they don't want' Said he would fine them $100,000 for every illegal border crossing But defended legal immigration, pointed out he is married to a Slovenian Also pushed his credentials as a negotiator, and slammed current 'bad deals' by U.S. politicians including Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry Said he's 'militaristic', wants to dramatically increase defense spending

Donald Trump has won over Republican voters with a pair of speeches to the party faithful, attacking the government of Mexico and outlining a plan to charge them $100,000 for every illegal immigrant who crosses the southern border.

The Republican presidential front-runner got round after round of applause at successive events in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona, at which he rounded on the Mexican government for allegedly 'pushing' undocumented immigrants to the U.S. to avoid dealing with them themselves.

Trump said that Mexico had been allowed to get away with the scheme because they are 'smart' and President Obama and his administration are 'stupid' - a situation which can only be fixed if he leads the charge to 'take back our country'.

"Incendiary", "arch", "firebrand", "hardline".

These are adjectives frequently used to describe conservatives...and ONLY conservatives.

it would end up being La Revolucion, Part XIII.

Maybe we could sell them our Constitution as their new founding document. We aren't using it anymore.

No but I wish you'd go back to the DU where you came from. Your posting history is leftist progressive all the way. You will fly under the radar and then you will say something that not ever Jim Rob can ignore and you will get thew zot like "non sequitur". Non sequitur spouted off about gays in the military, he was for it and got the zot. How about you? Would you care to tell us what you think about gays in the military? What's your position on that subject?

“Which would put a big dent in our deficit.”

Actually, at current levels. it would create a surplus. But, off the top of my head, it would only put about a
4 1/2% dent in our debt.

Never having been in the military I can't speak from experience. My dad had been in the Army and he was opposed to it. And if I recall correctly most of the military leadership at the time was against it, so I think their opinions on what was best should have counted for a lot more that it apparently did.

Now, what exactly does this have to do with all the fun discussions we've been having?

Democrats attempt to play us against each other. Have you noticed they NEVER do that with Democrats?

Bernie has yet to be asked even ONE question about Hillary’s erased emails... Biden hasn’t been asked either. The press whores for Democrats...

They do it in other refugee situations.

Fine every employer who hires an illegal $1 million per day per employee and watch how fast our immigration “problem” disappears.

Be sure to include members of Congress who hire illegals to cut their grass or watch their kids.

Yes, indeed. It's fairly obvious.

In the case of illegal immigrants, however, the "GOP faithful" (the likes of Congressional leadership, Jeb Bush, McCain, Graham, Rubio, and so on) is barely distinguishable from the Democrats. Those groups practice obfuscation in the form of casting the issue one of "immigration" and xenophobia ignoring the "illegal" aspect; and "diversity" being something they want more of. Immigration is an issue that pits the elites against the workers.

Yeh well all the illegals send money back too. No taxes, not SS paid in no medicare paid in. So you stop them from sending the money back and Mexico will shape up fast and start securing their own border. Legal immigrants have ID that they can use to send money back.

Just answer yes or no to the following question: I think openly homosexual persons should be allowed to serve in the military.

Again yes or no. It is not a hard question you twit.

The good news is truth is pulling our guys to the right. This issue works with the American people... and the left knows it.

You're expecting the UN to do something that benefits the U.S. How often does that happen?

Works with lefties too. I can see many lefties plus unionists voting Trump because he is anti-free trade, the moronic kind we engage in. Plus I know liberals who despise open borders. Just has to be important enough to them that they don't vote for the PIG IN THE PANTSUIT!

The Donald is who scares Hillary/and her flunkies the most.

Non sequitur spouted off about gays in the military, he was for it and got the zot.

Liar.

NS said "I don't like the way DADT has been repealed but I spent most of my adult life in the military and I think I know a thing or two about it. You gloom and doomers who say this will destroy the military are giving little credit to the hundreds of thousands of men and women in uniform who will not let it. The true professionals in uniform will remain true professionals."

I know that your reading comprehension fast approaches that of a 2nd grader but he in no way endorsed phags in the military. He did say leave it to the military (as opposed to the politicians) and that sadly has clearly been shown to be a mistake.

So how would he collect?

What does really intelligently mean? Does it exclude those who cross without Mexican government help?

How about a 75% tax on monetary transfers to Mexico?

If a money order or cashier's check is cashed in Mexico the tax reverts to the issuer. That would encourage issuers to be careful.
