I recall an issue of Playboy from back in the 60s or early 70s with an article on the girls of various universities and the campus party levels. I remember the comment on Baylor: “Baylor girls don’t”.

Things might be a’changin’ down there!

The BSA National President at the time the BSA changed its membership policy to allow openly homosexual youth was a Mormon.

He traveled to SLC just before the convention of delegates (who were going to “vote” on the matter) and when the “vote” results were announced, SLC was essentially silent on the matter of openly homosexual youth in the BSA. Draw your own conclusions, but coincidences aren’t always just coincidence.

Previously, when the trial balloons were floated, SLC had come down pretty hard and did a pretty decent job of popping those balloons.

The BSA gets a lot of “free” money from SLC Scouting as a result of ghost membership fees paid. They register every youth of Scouting age on their membership rosters, regardless of church or Scouting activity.

The Mormons were the recipients of a pretty nasty backlash as a result of their support for Prop8 some years ago...I suspect they have taken a different tack with regards to homosexuality since then.

And FTR, there was a thread on the RF that had many responses to what churches were resisting/rejecting homosexuality...it’s more than you think.

So they removed homosexual acts, buy did they leave adultery and fornication as punishable acts?

The new policy endorsed by the university's board in May states, "Baylor will be guided by the biblical understanding that human sexuality is a gift from God and that physical sexual intimacy is to be expressed in the context of marital fidelity."

Well I guess pseudo-married homosexual acts are now okay. But homo or hetero fornication or adultery is still punishable. Got it.

In retrospect, not to change the policy would probably have quickly led to a lawsuit. Still fells like a cave though.

What's the odds that homo pseudo-marriage wasn't proceeded by homo-fornication?

Given the statistics about homosexual promiscuity both before and after so-called ‘same sex marriage’, then is ~zero chance of celibacy prior to homosexual marriage, and ~zero chance of fidelity afterwards.

You are right about that.

I am very much a “prude”. I think we encouraged homos today by all the immorality that sprung up for heteroes since the ‘60s. It was easy to leverage when people think anything goes with sex.

I used to think homos should be able to marry, if only to cut out the blatantly immoral extramarital sex they would likely be committing without it.

But I’ve long since changed my mind.

Mountain out of a mole hill here folks. fornication noun for·ni·ca·tion \ËŒfȯr-nÉ™-ˈkā-shÉ™n\ Definition of FORNICATION : consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other Sodomite sex outside of marriage is still against the rules due to the fornication rule still being in effect. The only thing that has changed is that sodomites can now marry and thus wouldn’t be fornicating with each other secularly speaking.

Nope, Rogers was one of what ruined that denomination. He was one of those inerrancy literal types. Complete idiot. His genius was to call normal Baptists as have existed for several decades, “liberals”, and to stake out his wacky position as “conservative”.

And Rogers was in the move to try to strongly centralize control, and anathema to traditional Baptists. In truth, he was the “liberal” in the church.

I don’t think caving on same-sex marriage is a ‘mole hill’. Nor do I think sanctifying ‘homosexuality’ so you can justify acceptance of ‘same sex marriage’ is a mole hill.

The point I was trying to make was that Baylor has almost no hetrosexual married couples attending it and I dont expect many if any same sex married couples to be attending either.

So the net effect of the rule change is basically zero.

Up is down. Now waiting until marriage with your heterosexual husband or wife will be considered sexual misconduct. Don’t even think about not using birth control or actually having more than two kids and not aborting any. Will the one child policy a la China be next? They’re already putting the Netherlands Groningen Protocol in place to take out the elderly, disabled up to 12 or 14 years old ‘without’ input from the family/loved ones, but on the decision of three ‘doctors’.

The slippery slope has morphed into the fast track to hell.

This a way beyond making a "mountain out of a mole hill."

While what you say about fornication outside of marriage still being forbidden at Baylor sounds good, it's totally beyond the point.

What this ruling says is that Baylor has NO PROBLEM with homosexuality as long as the homosexuals are "married." And it in no way forbids homosexual acts aside from intercourse.

Trust me, the homonazis view this as a huge victory and can't wait to spread more filth.

There is no way a Baylor prohibition against married sodomites having sex with each other would have held up in court.

I agree. It was decided, perhaps in the 60s, that sexual gratification was the one essential thing in life. Since most people look to gratify themselves with a person of the opposite sex, all the restraints regarding heterosexual activity were lost first.

The homosexual takeover is almost fun to watch, because many of the people going EEEEEW still don’t want any constraints on their own behavior.
