TRUMP AND THE GOP BORDER WAR
WND ^ | 7-6-15 | PATRICK J. BUCHANAN

Posted on 07/06/2015 6:01:40 PM PDT by dynachrome

In the 2016 race, June belonged to two outsiders who could not be more dissimilar.

Bernie Sanders is a socialist senator from Vermont and Donald Trump a celebrity capitalist and legendary entrepreneur and builder.

What do they have in common? Both have tapped into what the bases of their respective parties believe is wrong with America.

Bernie is the Willie Nelson of national politics, a leftist voice of a working class whose jobs and factories have been exported and whose wages have stagnated as banksters and the Davos-Doha crowd amass mammoth fortunes by playing games of three-dimensional Monopoly.

The 73-year-old Sanders may have no chance of beating Hillary. But the size of his crowds testifies that he speaks for millions.

Trump’s success comes from the issues he has seized upon – illegal immigration and trade deals that deindustrialized America – and brazen defiance of Republican elites and a media establishment.

By now the whole world has heard Trump’s declaration:

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. … They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems to us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

Politically incorrect? You betcha.

Curz has never said deport. That is the problem. When asked he says he wants to wait until the border is secured. He has previously agreed to some form of legalization.

I think Hugin is right. I was originally posting Cruz/Trump and someone pointed out to me that with his age and money, Trump won’t be second on the ticket. Cruz is still young and can use the career bump of VP.

Whatever one thinks about Trump, he’s right about this, and he’s right to discuss in the terms he’s used. Time to take off the gloves.

Good article. Thanks for finding and posting.

Trump and Cruz will team up on immigration in the debates
and will corner the other clowns weak position on immigration.
And expose them Mano on Mano, live and in person.
Trumps participation will draw huge viewer numbers to the debates.
Cruz and Trump will expose the other clowns LIVE and in full color.
The aftermath for many will not be pretty.

No wonder the GOPe’s are in sheer panic mode

The two are the only ones standing up for the American people. The rest are weasels.

Bernie is not like Trump at all. He wants amnesty. The only reason he is popular is because Hillary is campaigning in a vacuum.

No deportation is necessary. End all welfare benefits for illegals and all’immigrants including H1Bs and those from other countries designated as refugees by our politicians. Prosecute as felons those who hire illegals.

Plus, as VP, he could run the Senate. Might be worth putting up with Trump as President to see that happen. I would suspect that would be one way to get rid of some of those career politicians.

Bernie and Buchanan have a lot in common if you dare to investigate but what Trump really believes in (other thanTrump) is questionable to say the least.

Trump has elevated illegal immigration to the forefront. Now it’s time for the other GOP candidates to put up or shut up. If Bernie Sanders were truly the populist he and others make him to be he should be pointing out that illegals are forcing many Americans out of the job market. We know he won’t do it because he’s a big amnesty guy like every other leftist, and he knows full well the power of the Hispanic vote in the Democratic Party. Get ready for corporate bashing and class warfare on an epic scale from Sanders.

I’ve never heard Sanders support amnesty or gun control not that he wouldn’t because these are issues embedded in the mantra of Democratic Party owners and puppet masters.
