In my wild west AZ town, I think everyone is armed. The only criminal gunshots have come from drugged up liberals (next door, I had a swat team in my yard) and not one person has been shot here in the entire time I have lived here. Over a decade.

How, pray tell, would reform as envisioned by the White House have any affect on a self-declared sanctuary city refusing to detain a know violent felon with a history of deportation and return?

I wonder what the President would say if the situation had bee reversed:
Suppose that the father had shot and killed the Mexican illegal, because he was trying to protect his daughter, and because the illegal had a gun.
Obama and his staff would be condemning the father's action.
In addition, Democrats and the left would be screaming that we need more gun control and more programs for illegal immigrants and that it was all the Republicans in Congress fault anyway.
Or they are deliberately saying things that are so utterly ridiculous and void of logic in hopes of pushing someone over the edge.

Remember what the anti-Trump people shout: All men born in Mexico are as pure and innocent as snow, including illegal immigrants.
That is, not a single illegal immigrant born in Mexico has sold drugs in Mexico or in the United States, or had any kind of criminal record in Mexico before sneaking into the United States. How wonderful. That's nice.
