Prince Talal of Saudi Arabia: my visit to Israel shall mark the new age of peace and fraternity

The Saudi multi-millionaire media tycoon, prince Talal Bin Waleed, has urged all Arab nations to give up their acrimonious stance toward the Jewish nation and instead continue to strive for a more peaceful, prosperous and homogenous Middle-East.

The controversial Saudi prince Talal has openly declared his intention to embark a seven-day pilgrimage to Holy Land and pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque -- the third holiest site in Islam located in the Old City of Jerusalem -- reported Okaz, the Arabic Saudi Arabian daily on Thursday.

"All my Muslim brothers and sisters must understand that it became a moral imperative for all inhabitants of war-torn Middle-East, namely Arabs, to desist their absurd hostility toward Jewish people. My sovereign, King Salman has instructed me to open a direct dialogue with Israel's intellectual building amicable ties with our Israeli neighbors," Okaz quoted the Saudi prince who lives in one of London's affluent suburbs.

"I was always candid regarding the utmost necessity of quelling the growing waves of anti-Semitism in our volatile region," added Prince Talal, "and I shall remain lavish in my praise to Israel as the sole democratic entity in one the most tyrannical parts in the entire world."

Saying that his voyage might be the harbinger of peace and fraternity, the Saudi Prince emphasized on developing the nascent military and intelligence co-operation with Tel Aviv.

They are worried that their power derived from oil is permanently diminished.

They need powerful allies.

Obama will not like this statement one bit, Prince Talal. It’s your Islamic duty to oppose and boycott Israel, unequivocally. Expect a nasty phone call from the State Department shortly.

“Translation: “Please attack Iran for us..””

Addendum: “Oh, and can you destroy ISIS for us too?”

Absolutely correct. The Saud’s love to encourage others to get their hands dirty. The Saud’s have no support from the US since zero took the helm (which ironically I am happy about given the number of saudi’s that were highjackers on 9/11). I would love to see SA go under.

Really? A link to one of those would be appreciated, since my searches on his name turned up nothing but that of Alaweed bin Talal.

Tall bin Waleed is bogus. It’s either Waleed bin Talal or it’s a hoax.

That said, one of the unintended consequences that will be an 0b0z0 legacy is the “Red Sea NATO,” which consists of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the Gulf Emirates. Israel is a hidden member. Qatar and Turkey are dragged in it kicking and screaming but NOT trusted because they’re MB.

Saudi Arabia is TALKING to Israel through Egypt. I believe if an 0b0z0 legacy deal is reached with Iran, the IAF will have Saudi bases complete with jet fuel, at least.

We shall see.

An irrelevant comment from an irrelevant “prince” (royal bastard). The Saudi’s recently jailed the flight crew of a Saudi airliner that had had to make an emergency landing at an Israeli airport. There could be some backroom deals going on between the Saudi’s and the Israeli’s, but I don’t foresee any kind of public rapprochement as long as Israel retains control of the West Bank.

Not to mention that it’s the saudi government that sponsors ALL of the whahabbi schools all over the world, to indoctrinate new generations of muslim terrorists.

> The Saudi Arabian Airlines plane, an Airbus A330-300 which was empty of passengers at the time, landed earlier this month overnight at Ben-Gurion airport in Lod to perform emergency maintenance, despite the formal lack of a diplomatic relationship between Riyadh and Jerusalem. No passengers were on board. Saudi authorities determined that the plane had been subcontracted by the Hi Fly company, whose contract has now been revoked.

It is no secret the Saudi elites want and would even pay for Israel to take out Irans nuclear facilities, and I guarantee after Israel does that they turn on them like rabid wolves, even if Israel gets their desire in writing with a host of witnesses they will turn, this Saudi Prince maybe sincere but speaking for myself I sincerely doubt it, so what excuse would they use to turn... (Israel Went Too Far)

It is in fact what islamists do...

If he’s got the nod from the king, he’s in no more danger than he ordinarily would be.

Two words: Anwar Sadat.

(Publicly) Making nice with Israel is a life-threatening risk in (far too many) parts of the world.
