You do know that the genetic data we have shows that female homosexuality is entirely a chosen behavior, right? And you do know that in studies of homosexual identical twin males raised apart, the correlation is something like only 0.46, which demonstrates a very strong learned component, right?

Too many people have accepted the idea that homosexuals are "born that way." The scientific evidence doesn't support that conclusion, and in fact, in the case of lesbianism, it clearly says the exact opposite.

Homosexuality is a mild form of mental illness. Like most forms of mental illness, people suffering from it don't believe there's anything wrong with them. Like most forms of mild mental illness, we don't understand why people with the same genotype may or may not suffer from it.

What is really sad, is that unlike most forms of mental illness, we are not even trying -- and are never going to try -- to get these people the cure they desperately need.
