Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% released a statement Friday night attacking rival Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for a statement made during his campaign announcement speech 16 days ago.
Rubio’s statement reads:
Trump’s comments are not just offensive and inaccurate, but also divisive. Our next president needs to be someone who brings Americans together – not someone who continues to divide. Our broken immigration system is something that needs to be solved, and comments like this move us further from – not closer to – a solution. We need leaders who offer serious solutions to secure our border and fix our broken immigration system.
The portion of Trump’s speech that has generated outrage amongst pro-amnesty liberal activists called out Mexico for the high number of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. southern border who go on to commit violent crimes against U.S. citizens.
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” he said. “They’re sending people that have lots of problems… they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

Speaking at the New Hampshire Freedom Summit, a gathering of conservative activists and figures organized by Americans for Prosperity and Citizens United, Trump told the crowd that “we need somebody who’s gonna get things done, and politicians are all talk and no action.”
“All talk, it’s all bull——,” he added. “It’s all talk, and it’s no action.”

Rubio has to attack Trump now because Trump is taking some of Rubio’s support. Last month Rubio was near the top and after Trump got in, Rubio is in the back of the pack.
It is all strategy. Trump hurts Rubio and Walker and not Bush. Bush is going to pull away now that Trump is in - watch.
