As dozens of fans waited their turn to have a book signed, several people rose from the tables in the adjacent Starbucks and began bellowing slogans: “Undocumented, unafraid!” they yelled. “Ain’t no power like the power of the people ’cause the power of the people don’t stop!”

Anybody call ICE?
Back in the late 70s and later again in the early 80s I lived in Orange and in Santa Ana just off Harbor and 1st. Santa Anna was pretty Mexican back then and that section was part of the Harbor Blvd of Cars. Dick Cepek off-road was around there too.
Pretty decent if lower income area. No real gang issues other than grafiti.
Fast forward to 95-6. I had not been back in many years. We took my daughter to Dizzyland and I decided to go see what the old hood was like.
I have been told since that I am lucky to be alive. The place looked like Beruit. Buildings burnt/destroyed, road potted to hell and all the old car lots long gone or VERY used/low end.
I could not imagine what it looks like today.

In response she should have announced she was making a citizens arrest of them and then called for the sheriff.
