Blizzard of 1978, Chicago average 19 below zero. Ice is coming. Snowmobiles pressed into service in Buffalo. [Good Lord!]
Hundreds died of illness because of the cold.
People were running out of heating fuel.
Alabama had a New England winter.
California glaciers advanced to the San Joaquin Valley.
The Ice could return in a single life time.
Sea ice could be melted by putting black soot on it.
Where was CO2? Where was Michael Mann? Why was there 30 years of cold from 1945 when the industrial West was pumping CO2 like never before.
Mr. Spock would not lie to you.
But, seriously, how many Freepers remember the widespread March blizzard of 1966?
In those days, kids were told to bring a can of heat-able food to school every November. Mostly it was soup, but some picked spaghetti-o's, ravioli or the like. If we didn't get snowed it, we got to take it home sometime in April. Now, they call off school if there are a couple of lousy inches of snow.
“Junk In Junk Out” is a phrase use when referring to data crunching, but add to the mix the formula being flawed also means all the work is for naught! This is the Truth in that there is no known formula (to man) to begin with and the data being used in the error formulas(math models) is just Junk, unsustainable and proven wrong time and time again.
Psst if the weather cannot be predicted a week in advance how in the world do you think anyone can predict it years from now??? Obviously there is much missing to have the knowledge (formula/math models) to do so. It must be provable and repeatable. period, that is Science! The Research of Truths.
Note: With Mans arrogance he is often shown so wrong by God on what he thinks is truths... Poor old Lenard Nimoy was he Right or Wrong???
Global Warming(Cooling) is about Control and has NOTHING to do with the Truth!

CO2 is a convenient “vehicle” to encompass all carbon based life-forms and energy production under one tax and regulation structure. No one and nothing gets an exemption.
CO2 gets EVERYTHING, everywhere, forever under controls. CO2 has nothing to do with climate change where it is significant compared to things like, oh, water vapor.
Those bad winters in the 1970s are the reason I adapted and moved south.

Jerry Pournelle hasn’t forgotten that ice ages are a greater threat to our civilization than global warming, as well as the possibility that global warming from human industrialization may be all that has delayed the start of the next ice age.
