He probably doesn't know it was stored underneath the Vatican, in the Secret Warehouse...

Luke 22:36 NIV

He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.…

Prepare for one pissed off Righteous Judge...
I assume he will be quite conservative.. and armed to the teeth..

other than THAT: it's Cruz or Lose....

What can I say? This Pope surely has John Lennon’s “Imagine” piped into speakers in every room at the Vatican. Idealist (that is, childishly naive) mumbo jumbo that is very much in line with his refusal to accept that we live in a real world full of dangerous characters that don’t like us and would kill us if they could.

It was Christ himself that advised bringing swords (Luke 22).

Does that socialist know about anything? How do they elect those clowns anyway? O'Dummy got in the white house because 1) he's partly black and 2) Jorge Busho destroyed what was left of the Repugnant party.

What was this guy's gimmick?

Actually it is Luke 22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

So far, it would appear that Chatty Cathy has never even heard of Peter. May God send us a Catholic pope and soon before this guy gets to appoint many cardinals.

One of General Patton’s favorite psalms.

 O GOD, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

3 Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

6 When I remember thee upon my bed and meditate on thee in the night watches.

7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Wasn’t it Jesus suggesting that if they had to, they should sell cloaks to buy one?

I’m no fan of Francis, but it’s a stretch to hang the Inquisition on him. Anyway, the evils of the Inquisition have been exaggerated by Catholic-haters for years.

“Imagine” (from the Pontiff’s Point of View)

Imagine there's no man-made Climate Change
It's easy if you try
No science from Bill Nye
Above us only a carbon filled sky
Imagine all the people
Living for 100 years from now when the Earth is .00000000567000075 degrees warmer...

Imagine there's no countries
The New World Order commands you
Nothing to live for
And no actual Science too
Imagine all the people
Living below third world conditions...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday your brains become dull
And the world will believe my papal bull…

Imagine no possessions
Our One World taxman can
Elites will cause a lot of hunger
The destruction of man
Imagine all the AGW “science”
Destroying all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not.
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be like the movie “Priest”

> “. The disciples, possessing weapons, said, “Lord, shall we smite with the sword?” (Luke 22:49)”

There’s more to this. Jesus himself ordered his disciples to obtain and bring the swords. Why?

The ‘why’ is a mystery.

Here’s what I think; here’s how I explain it to myself:

Fact: Jesus foresaw that He would be arrested, tried and crucified.

Conjecture: Jesus foresaw that His disciples could also be arrested, tried and crucified.

Belief: Without his disciples to carry on after He was crucified, resurrected and ascended, the Scriptures would not be fulfilled, the Church would not exist and Salvation would be lost. The survival of the disciples was essential.

Conjecture: Jesus ordered his disciples to purchase and bring the weapons so that the Temple Guards would back down and his disciples would be left alone to escape.

John 18
8 Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” 9 This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.

Belief: Jesus ordered weapons in self-defense for carrying out God’s will. I use this belief to back up my support of the 2nd Amendment. I still believe the US Constitution was divinely inspired and guided.

The Full Armor of God in Ephesians 6 contains a sword.

But then, the Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God, so it’s not surprising this Pope doesn’t remember it.
