Could Obama end up on the Supreme Court after he retires from the White House?
Fox News ^ | June 24, 2015 | Zev Chafets

In his recent podcast interview with comedian Marc Maron, President Obama reflected on the passing of time. His daughters are growing older and have less time to hang with their dad. “I’ve got to start thinking, well, what’s going to replace that fun,” he said.

Good question, and it goes for the rest of Obama’s life as well. In eighteen months he will be an ex-president, term-limited and out of a job. Just fifty-five, the former leader of the free world will still be in the prime of life.

Obama hasn’t said what he has in mind for his next act. His options are virtually endless. What he decides is going to matter—especially to Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party.

Assuming she is nominated, Hillary can’t be elected president in 2016 without a huge black turnout. Obama will, of course, endorse her, but his blessing can’t be lukewarm. He will have to go all out. In politics, that kind of an effort does not come without a quid pro quo.

[Snip]

There is something else that a President Hillary Clinton could do for Obama: Give his wife a job. Michelle Obama, like her husband, is on her way to becoming an unemployed empty-nester.There is something else that a President Hillary Clinton could do for Obama: Give his wife a job.

I would be just as good at protecting the Constitution on the Supreme Court as I am in the White House!

There’s a lot more other places I wish he would end up when he retires.

There are problems with this:

He was NEVER a law professor.

He’s lazy, ignorant, and easily bored, and 99% of USSC cases are boring corporate law.

He can’t write (because he’s stupid), and his professors all thought he was stupid, ignorant, and lazy.

He committed perjury on his Illinois Bar questionnaire. He said he had never used any name other than “Barack Hussein Obama.”

He seems to have surrendered his law license.

OTOH: There is no legal requirement that a member of the Court be a lawyer at all, and lots of them have been stupid and lazy.

This depends on who the next president is.

If it’s Hillary, Slick Willy will be the one.

If it’s Bush, Christie, Graham, Carson, Huckabee, Rubio, Paul, or Trump, Obomba will be first on the list.

If it’s Cruz or Walker, Obomba will never be a Supreme.

In that case, he can go directly to the UN to replace Monkey Moon.

He doesn’t need to be on the bench. His blackmail of justices has done just fine.

Not a chance, it would be too much work.

Sure he could go to SCOTUS... and in his spare time, he could be a president of a SCOTUS Law Review.

I think the job he wants is Secretary General of the UN.

I just don’t see a man with Obama’s ego settling to be one of nine. He’s going to want to make his opinion known on everything without having to say “I concur with Justice Kagan’s opinion...”

How about a career in Hollywood? He’s great at acting, is nice looking, and there are plenty of his type there. Same for his wife.

“This depends on who the next president is.”

If he is nominated by Hillary, expect the following Republican Senators to immediately announce their support of the nomination because the President should be allowed her choice:

Hatch, McCain, Graham, Alexander, Murkowski, Collins. Many of the other RINOs will follow.

What's he going to do, jiveturkeying?

SCOTUS jobs are REAL, LONG hard work, not Obama’s style, neither his forte.
