Justice Anthony Kennedy’s Tolerance Is Seen in His Sacramento Roots [Foregone Conclusion?]

Justice Anthony Kennedy’s Tolerance Is Seen in His Sacramento Roots

A portrait of Justice Anthony M. Kennedy hangs in the student dining center of McGeorge School of Law, where Justice Kennedy taught part-time for 23 years.

By SHERYL GAY STOLBERG JUNE 21, 2015 SACRAMENTO — In the fall of 1987, a package arrived on the desk of Laurence H. Tribe, a Harvard law professor who had just lost a Supreme Court case on gay rights. It contained the legal opinions of Anthony M. Kennedy, a strait-laced, conservative Republican jurist from Sacramento who hardly seemed sympathetic to that cause.

The package was sent by one of the most influential men in the California capital then, Gordon Schaber, a law school dean who had enlisted a young Mr. Kennedy to teach night classes and nurtured his career. Now Mr. Schaber was angling for President Ronald Reagan to elevate his friend to the Supreme Court — and he wanted the Harvard professor’s support.

“Gordon Schaber said that Tony Kennedy was entirely comfortable with gay friends,” said Professor Tribe, who later testified to urge the Senate to confirm Justice Kennedy. “He said he never regarded them as inferior in any way or as people who should be ostracized, and I did think that was a good signal of where he was on these matters.”

Now, as the Supreme Court prepares to rule on whether to grant a constitutional right to same-sex marriage, Justice Kennedy, a onetime altar boy, has emerged as an unlikely gay rights icon. At 78, he has advanced legal equality for gays more than any other American jurist, making his friend Mr. Schaber, who died in 1997 — and who was, many who knew him believe, a closeted gay man — look prescient.

Maybe if he’d come from Bakersfield it would’ve been different.

I would have been perfectly happy with Ginsburg.

How could ANYONE lose a Supreme Court case on gay rights?

If it was covered by the 14th amendment, it was ALWAYS there. Unless the 14th amendment doesn’t really apply.

It is not about tolerance. It is about inverting our values. Good is evil and evil is good. It is about intolerance of dissenters. All must change their views or be punished.

IOW, he's a mole. Put there by Cultural Marxists who knew he was a plant.

Not really what he seemed to be, but a man with a secret: he was not what he pretends.

A bomb put there by the most deranged and evil in our society, waiting for the day when he could strike.

And no way to be rid of him or his co-conspirators. Legislators For Life, like a Banana Republic Thugocracy, a court of Jesters.

The eye that alters, alters all. (Blake).

Kennedy was probably warped in childhood by the homofascists who infiltrated the Catholic Church in the 30s that Bella Dodd writes about.

All homosexual behaviors are learned and habituated-—boys are groomed in ALL homosexual cultures.

That Kennedy was comfortable with the evil vile, dehumanizing use of people-—as a Means to an End-—should have made it impossible for him to be on the Bench.

All Just Laws have to promote “public virtue” and embracing evil, dehumanizing behaviors is Evil. He will rest in hell for the Satanic ethics that he is trying to normalize in young children.

According to the article, Kennedy was “warped” by Gordon Schaffer, and he has gay law clerks working for him. Sometimes it helps to read the entire article before commenting.

Unless the 14th amendment doesn’t really apply.

For most people, it doesn't.

“Justice Anthony Kennedy’s Tolerance Is Seen in His Sacramento Roots”

Imagine a gay rights celebratory party in DC and there on the dance floor dancing to the tune of "My Boy Lollipop" are Anthony Kennedy and Barney Frank!

I will point out that Breyer, Ginsberg, would never have been on the court if George Herbert Walker Bush had not broken his promise to never raise taxes.

It is that broken Promise that cost Bush the election, and as a result, gave Clinton the office and allowed him to pick those horrible Judges.

Clinton's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", policy would never have paved the way for future Gaystapo assaults on American culture if Clinton hadn't been there.

That attempt to make a deal with Democrats cost the nation it's future, and I hated George Herbert Walker Bush the day he announced it, because I knew exactly what it meant to the future of our nation.

I knew it was political suicide, and it most certainly cost him the next election.

McGeorge School of Law has always been a liberal bastion.

Common to all UOP campuses, it's in the ghetto.

How did Reagan get snookered into that one?

Kennedy was the replacement for the late Judge Robert Bork. What a difference a judge makes. We saw how Bush senior was snookered into appointing Justice Souter.

OK. But usually “warping” happens in childhood-—the embedded emotions prior to the capacity of Reason. Those irrational emotions can subjugate Reason (Maturity). All immature people (irrational) can not control their base emotions—embedded by a dysfunctional family or outside trauma..

Anyone, like Kennedy, who rationalizes vice-—should never be on the Supreme Court. He is incapable of Reason and the understanding of Natural Law (Constitution). He obvious had some serious trauma in childhood. Usually you pick your “friends” by who you “feel” comfortable with-—and evil people like evil people.
