Born and raised in the south. Never owned anything related to “Dixie”. Just bought my first. My truck will now fly the Stars and Bars.
I just googled photos of the German-American Bund. Lots of Nazi flags, lots of American flags.
No matter how hard I looked I did not see a Confederate flag anywhere!
They are even removing a window from the National Cathedral
A photograph of the Confederate Flag held by a insane person certainly requires political use of an opportuity for deflection and redirection from his so called manifesto as his misguided murderous excuse;
Citing the score of assults and murders of completely innocent whites,”hispanics”, and asians, committed by black youths and their reason given for doing so was; The miss-reporting by MSN of the “cold blood killing of Treyvon Martin” .
As the POTUS who knew the facts kept silent . Doesn’t it ?

I’ve given this a lot of thought - and from a political point, I think it’s time to furl the Battle Flag and replace it with the Bonnie Blue - that flag stands for States Rights, and from a political point of view - that’s what this is all about. You then change the arguement but keep a vital symbol of what Southern Rights are all about. Heck, it even has its own song.
Ban the Confederate flag and The Civil War never happened. If this is what the outcome will be then I guess they’ll drop the reparations issue, right?
The libs that are making progress are doing so by applying public pressure, I advocate the same. I am wanting to make things better, not worse.

Although I support everyone’s freedom of expression to fly whatever flag limited, I think it’s a smoke screen.
All the commotion about the battle flag has shouted down the courageous Christian witness of the bereaved families.
That’s a real loss to our society.
