Are you referring to the Confederate Battle Flag when you say “rebel” flag?
If I for one don’t hold it as all that is pure and true. I revere it because of the brave men and boys that fought, got wounded and died under it. I honor it for their sacrifice for something they believed in - right or wrong. How many keyboard commandos would fight and possibly die under the Gadsden flag today?

Why can’t all Whites just decide that we are actually Black - after all, if a guy can decide that he’s really a she, why can’t the same be done for something less significant like skin color? Besides, we’re all “from Africa” - so we’re ALL African-Americans (at least those of us who are citizens.
Oh, and guys should all declare that they are lesbians - men trapped in women’s bodies, but who are attracted to women. Women can do the mirror image thing.
The Leftist position on so many things is so anti-science, so illogical, so counter to anything related to common sense that it is internally inconsistent...so let’s take advantage of that.
I haven't seen those, and I've been following the issue pretty closely. I've seen posts where people say they are tempted to fly it instead, but none stating that anyone WAS going to do so.
In any event, I have not flown the 50-Star U.S. flag at my house in more than 9 years. I fly the Revolutionary War-era "Grand Union" flag instead. I will proudly return to flying the 50-Star flag when people who respect it and our Constitution are once again in control of the federal government.
Based on events this week, though, I'd better stay stocked up on the ol' Grand Union flag.

I’m surprised the left hasn’t latched on to this one more. With all the dysfunctional families they’ve created and the rampant misbehavior by ghetto teens, it wouldn’t be difficult for them to claim that that is proof that the family unit does not do a good job at raising kids and that in fact it is a detriment to society and that it is better for the state to raise kids.
They can also use the “egalitarian” argument and say that kids born to rich families have an “unfair advantage” and the state needs to step in and level the playing field for all the kids to have “equal opportunity” by removing them from their parents at birth.
I expect to see such arguments cropping up in the not too distant future.
The conflict has been a long time coming. There is no avoiding it at this point.

Believe me, I understand your position. Unfortunately, the Left will then conflate opposition to the federal leviathan with slavery and the federal leviathan as the only things protecting Blacks from being re-enslaved.

I've always wanted a Grand Union flag but have never found one. I do have a Betsy Ross flag.

Show up at Black churches and demand to be "married," and if they refuse sue them into the stone age. Let's see how Black churches (who have always been exempt from liberal wrath) like a little of what rednecks have been getting.
Unfortunately, we moved four years ago to one of these new houses with no wood anywhere on the outside, so I can't even fly the flags I have.
My philosophy on flag burning is simple:
If I see someone burning a flag which THEY legally own, I will find it offensive, and I will not associate with that person, but I will not try to stop them.
If I see someone trying to take one from a public flag pole to burn it I will try to stop them.
If I see someone trying to take one from MY flagpole, I WILL stop them.
