We’ll be lucky if he’s not part of a gay marriage before this debacle of a court rules again.

It really doesn’t matter. 5-4 or 6-3, the result is a foregone conclusion.

Theres still an uncollected wager here on FR on the ObamaCare decision. Gotta find who has to pay up. Really? someone actually thought Roberts' court would flip after ruling for ObamaCare in 2012? That's ridiculous.
Gay Marriage is a no brainer - 6-3 for the Sodomites - Thomas, Alito and Scalia dissent (duh)

We know who Roberts is now. He is not on our side, and there is no reason to believe he will keep things in their Constitutionally-appointed places. He has already done more to shred the Constitution to bits than probably any person before him has done.

The chief injustice has zero interest in the law, so this will be a personal choice for him based upon what he would prefer.
Honestly it doesnt matter The ‘courts’ lawlessness on other matters has already rendered the Federal Constitution dead. That constitution won’t be anymore or less dead no matter what they do.

Are you doubting that God exists? There is no doubt in my mind that he does . . . and your imaginary friend is actively involved in affairs of the american government, right? - ok - got it . . . :-)

He can’t break away from what he never was with to start with. John Roberts was appointed to be a Liberal Chief Justice by a Center to Left POTUS. The Bush clan helped no one outside their Circle of NWO Liberal Think to hold key positions.

To ‘break’ from the right, Roberts must at some time have identified with it. I’m having a very hard time finding sufficient evidence to back up that claim.

He could go against it just to “prove” that he’s not actually bought and paid for. But, then again...

And, besides, being gay is not exactly a negative inside the Beltway. So, I don’t see how he could be blackmailed with that.

This is pathetic. We get to sit and watch while 9 unelected political hacks get to determine what our laws are.

Prediction time: Will John Roberts break with the right on gay marriage too?...sure - while it's important for the Supremes to read the intent of the law and ignore what it says even to the extent of rewriting it if necessary if what it intends is good for the left, it's even better to ignore the intent of a law, such as honoring traditional marriage, and insist on some ephemeral constitutional restriction to the extent of overturning a law that would, say, outlaw same-sex marriage if that law is good for the right......
