I'm actually kind of surprised that the Bars and Stars Confederate flag symbol was still even allowed in the state flag of a number of states even AFTER the Civil War ended in 1865. And even more so after the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

But then again, haven’t we already seen instances in which schools with high populations of illegals are forcing the removal of the American flag from their flagpoles? Because of how the flag supposedly reflects minority oppression and offends them? All that micro-agression, you know.
