A government practice dating back to the New Deal has been struck down and the Ninth Circuit was reversed. Today was a good day at SCOTUS. However, we still have King v. Burwell (Obamacare subsidies) and Obergefell v. Hodges (gay marriage).

The vote is very telling as to the fact that SC part of our government is made up of personal beliefs not necessarily established Constitutional intent. I’ll review my history of the establishment of the SC but I tend to believe that personal ideology/desires of court members was not intended by the Founders or what should be in force today.

I spent 30 years as a Computer professional for the World’s largest raisin company. Part of my job was to pay the growers and so I am very familiar with this government taking. It is time that the program ended.
