THE POPE STEPS IN IT AGAIN
Powerline ^ | 21 Jun 15 | John Hindraker

Pope Francis is rapidly convincing me that he is not just a leftist, but a dope. Speaking to a group of young people in Turin, he departed from his script and launched into a rambling denunciation of, among others, arms manufacturers:

“It makes me think of … people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesn’t it?” he said to applause.

He also criticized those who invest in weapons industries, saying “duplicity is the currency of today … they say one thing and do another.”

We are a long way from “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.” Pope Francis then went on a tour of world history that included this gem:

“The great powers had the pictures of the railway lines that brought the trains to the concentration camps like Auschwitz to kill Jews, Christians, homosexuals, everybody. Why didn’t they bomb (the railway lines)?”

With what? Oh yeah, that would be bombs. Dropped out of bombers. Manufactured by…whom?

Pope Francis needs to pull out of his recent tailspin before he becomes an international laughingstock.

He’d be good... Cardinal Sarah would also be good.

>>>It’s one reason the Islamic states are going to bury Europe.

That's true for sure. The world our kids and grandkids inherit is going to be SO different than what we know...it's downright scary and so unpredictable.

I think some of the European countries are waking up to that fact...but I also think they've hit the snooze button one to many times and nothing can stop the Islamification of Europe.

When I was stationed in Germany in the early 70’s, Turks were rare and were essentially migrant workers.

When I returned in the mid 90’s, they were in serious numbers, and they controlled neighborhoods, and they created serious animosity.

Just an observation

The church put a leash on the vicar of Christ or God on earth? The inconsistency here is laughable. On one thread I get lectured that the pope is the direct descendent of Peter on whom the church is supposedly built, on the next thread even RC’s are decrying the pope. Which is it? you cant have both.

Time for the RCs to admit their church is a man made denomination like every other. Some of them are members of the Church built on Christ, just as some members of every other denomination are.

There is a huge difference between the earthly church and the real Church. The RCs confuse the two.
