Should the U.S. Constitution Still Be the Nation’s Legal Bedrock?
Rasmussen Reports ^ | June 15, 2015

Voters may question just how faithful President Obama has been to the U.S. Constitution, but they continue to stand firm in their own belief about the document that has been the supreme law of the United States for 227 years

...

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 89% of U.S. Likely Voters want to continue using the Constitution as the fundamental law of the United States. Five percent (5%) are against continued use of the Constitution, while six percent (6%) aren’t sure.

That compares to 85% of American Adults who said in 2013 that the Constitution should remain the fundamental law of the nation. Two percent (2%) were opposed and 13% said they were not sure

six percent (6%) aren’t sure. [...] in 2013 [...] 13% said they were not sure

Seeing what 0bama's been up to forces one to take a side.

Plenty of native White libtards seem to oppose the constitution.

When asked for comment, John Boehner said "that's a question for the Supreme Court" and Mitch McConnell replied "unless we have the presidency there's not much we can do." The 11% of Congress that actually understands how the Constitution works just facepalmed in lieu of an answer.

Is the constitution a living or dying document?

11% don’t even know what the hell the Constitution is.

Wait until Common Core kicks in. Those percentages will plummet.

Unless, of course, more states do the right thing and reject it entirely.

The only parts of the Constitution that even come close to being upheld are the phrases that involve numbers: every second year, two senators from each state, etc.

All other phrases that seem categorical are mere blank slates for judges to write in their own meanings.

“5% are against continued use of the Constitution, while 6% aren’t sure.”

I was taught that 10% screw things up for everyone else. This pole leans left at 11%. Typical.
Our God given Bill of Rights and the Constitution is ALL US have. Wonder what government agency/program the 11% thinks they can rely on?

According to Obama, it is dead and stinking. He does, however, get help from the republicrats, in killing the constitution.

I find the poll question bizarre. They could probably poll those same people and find out 89% or less believe the United States should still exist as a country

Fifty-one (51%) of voters think that Obama has been less faithful to the U.S. Constitution than his predecessors in the Oval Office. Nineteen percent (19%) say Obama has been more faithful to the Constitution than previous presidents when taking executive actions, while 26% say he has been about as faithful.

Oh great mob rule/polls asking the only people idle enough to answer stupid questions- takers, envious liberals- if they want rules. Rules inspired by ancient logical civilization inspired by God and the great philosophers

To allow whom to make up new rules? This Supreme Court? Entertainment TV? Sharia? Hilary? Donald trump? George bush? The justice department? Academia?

Could conservatives stop being chicken and just say no? This is NOT going to stop

The sad truth is that 50% of “voters” are ignorant and/or morons.
