Rush also touched on the real danger of a Trump candidacy. When he loses in the GOP primary, he has more than enough cash to mount a third-party effort, and you’ve got 1992 all over again, with the White House being handed to Hillary instead of Bill.
Don’t underestimate the Donald’s ego. It will be very interesting to see how he fares in the early primaries; New Hampshire and South Carolina are cheap media states (with the exception of the Boston market serving southern New Hampshire). Trump is probably making plans to buy every possible commercial availability to flood the airwaves and see how much traction he can generate.
With all the transplanted Massholes in New Hampshire (and Trump’s liberal positions on most social issues, he could get some traction in the Granite State. He won’t play as well in South Carolina, but he could make some noise in Florida, even with Jeb! and Rubio on the ballot.
But the real question is when The Donald pitches a fit and goes third party.

By being on the ballot for president I assume the Primaries? Of course he will be on the ballot since he has already announced his candidacy on March 23, 2015. The only way he will not be on the ballot is if he gets out before the primaries or caucuses even start. Which happened when Herman Cain, who was my first choice in 2012. He got out due to the lies the liberal media spread about him before the primaries even started. Many on this site bought the lies hook line and sinker

Would have agreed with you prior to the past few weeks. However the past few weeks I see Jeb supporting common core and hear his sympathy for immigration played up and I see Jeb, Walker, and Cruz the three front runners we are being given all on Obama’s side on Obamatrade. So the three people we have been told are frontrunners have in my opinion disqualified themselves. If I have to turn to a clown I will turn to a clown but I will take that a clown on the right side of things, rather than a supposed non-clown on the wrong side.
Anyone who thinks Trump is anything but designed to put Hillary in the White House needs to read this list.
