Britain has pulled out agents from live operations in "hostile countries" after Russia and China cracked top-secret information contained in files leaked by former U.S. National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden, the Sunday Times reported.
Security service MI6, which operates overseas and is tasked with defending British interests, has removed agents from certain countries, the newspaper said, citing unnamed officials at the office of British Prime Minister David Cameron, the Home Office (interior ministry) and security services.

Russia and China have both managed to crack encrypted documents which contain details of secret intelligence techniques that could allow British and American spies to be identified, the newspaper said citing officials.

Look... before Snowden was charged news of the NSA’s Secret Bulk Data Collecting had ‘already’ been exposed by Leslie Cauley at USA Today in May of 2006..... It’s not like it was a secret this was going on ..... Snowden simply contacted the Guardian and they created the story and it went from there.

China, supposedly, just hacked ALL information on close to half a million of our people in federal employment— including military, CIA, FBI - having ALL information on every one - every thing but the length of their eyebrows -

So is this story a ruse to pin it on Snowden rather than the Chinese hacking - and explaining how our gov’t systems are so vulnerable?

Snowden exposed what our government is doing to its own people (that it is supposed to represent).

But you have to complete the circle. The NSA’s agenda is also different from ours.
Would you be surprised to find out that, like the IRS, the NSA collects and exploits political intelligence that benefits entrenched government interests?
No other action - other than the will to do it - is required as the technology is already in place - only the will to use government apparatus against ones political “enemies” is needed.
So I will surmise - with good reason - that whatever the NSA is, it is also the political intelligence arm of the Democrat Party - using it’s information to blackmail and influence and mold public opinion to it’s own end.
Yeah, Snowden is whatever he is. But so is the NSA.
I want to see Snowden and anyone (and everyone) at the NSA who is complicit in these illegal acts jailed for a long time.

Snowden is a traitor. He could have done something like this by leaking info to the NY Times like those “unnamed source within the administration” do. He may have had good intentions but he went about it in a stupid way. A man without a country now. Enjoy the rest of your life pal.
