Obamao takes credit for Ben Ladin....he also should get blame for Snoden.
“suppose he had some courage, but not enough, apparently to stay and fight the good fight in his own country.”
He joins many others who fled their own countries when their lives were endangered, including David in the Bible. There are times...
“Sure he would have put himself at some risk, but how much? Its possible he could have been assassinated or imprisoned, but, although we are living in a soft tyranny, it has not yet turned into a hard tyranny, so I think those two outcomes were far from certain. In the mean time, his chosen path is certainly not risk free either.”
We agree...but he has no other choice. Russia is one of the few countries that can and will defy the U.S.
“He has shown a degree of courage I suppose, but that alone does not make him worthy of admiration.”
I admire that he was willing to give up freedom to fulfill conviction. That doesn’t mean I admire everything about him.
“There have been monsters throughout history who have displayed what one might call courage.”
Agree. I don’t see him as monster or hero. I do appreciate what he did.
While most here hate Snowden, I am thankful that he released so much, we found out a lot of good information about why our own government lies to us.
The timing of this is interesting, just shortly after Obama lost some of his spy power at the NSA this comes out? If Snowden has everything he must also have Hillary’s missing e-mails and Obama’s Real Birth Certificate.
It was only a matter of time. Now I’m a bit anxious about travelling to China with a security clearance.
TROLL ALERT!
Possibly the administration is prepping to blame Snowden for terrorist attack(s) on US soil.
People who start out with insults have no place on FR.
You can state your opinion without being rude.
They very easily could.
However, on his gravestone, I would be happy to see "Well, He Did ONE Good Thing -- He Exposed NSA's Spying On Americans"
Here’s the Daily Mail link.
“The top-secret documents contain information that could lead to the identification of British and American spies, according to senior officials in Downing Street, the Home Office and the security services.”
Notice how they’re blaming Snowden and not OPM?
Emails and texts, however, are kept in their entirety.
And we don't know for a fact the NSA doesn't keep conversations. After all, it wasn't long ago we would have assumed the NSA didn't monitor and keep call metadata.
So they are blaming Snowden? Just now? Really? It’s not like the goverment didn’t have a big hack the last week or so, with all the names working for the governement was stolen. I call BS.
>>snowden is a traitor. nothing less.
Bump.
Wouldn’t want to be a cop on Obama’s Amerika.
Now I can add spy to that list.

You have a way with words and large fonts.
Right. Just like the Rolling Stones reporter. He got a medal, didn't he?
