Britain Pulls Out Spies as Russia, China Crack Snowden Files - Report (US spies also at risk)

Britain has pulled out agents from live operations in "hostile countries" after Russia and China cracked top-secret information contained in files leaked by former U.S. National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden, the Sunday Times reported.

Security service MI6, which operates overseas and is tasked with defending British interests, has removed agents from certain countries, the newspaper said, citing unnamed officials at the office of British Prime Minister David Cameron, the Home Office (interior ministry) and security services.

Russia and China have both managed to crack encrypted documents which contain details of secret intelligence techniques that could allow British and American spies to be identified, the newspaper said citing officials.

Except most of what Snowden claimed were complete lies.

Dude, are you some sort of Fed sent here to lie to us?

The fact is, the NSA collected (at the minimum) ALL metadata on ALL Americans on ALL their calls and emails.

That's not disputed by anyone -- the NSA included -- and that is the Snowden revelation that jarred the world.

What a coincidence.

First it makes the news that hackers got all of our military and intelligence employment records for both past and present Federal employees, and only a few hours later there's a story about how the records Snowden led to some of our operatives being exposed.

Will wonders never cease !

Snowden warned the American public about what its own government was doing to them; good for him.

With all the misinformation and misdirection propagated by our government, one might consider an alternate explanation. This story is just a cover for the possibility the info was not from Snowden but was lifted direct from FedGov servers in the recent ChiCom hack. Blaming Snowdon deflects blame from the Regime having crappy security in place which allowed the security breach.

Remember that everything the Regime says is a lie.

Traitor through and through.

He gave it all ASAP to the Chinese Communists.

The ChiCom asymmetrical warfare allows IS or al Qaeda info on need to know basis.

“Snowden happened on Obama’s watch. Obama let him escape to China and then Russia.”

All these people thinking Snowden is some hero didn’t seem to notice the Obama admin hasn’t ever tried very hard to catch him or stop him.

“It was a spy” does sound better than, “we can’t secure our servers”, don’t it ?

Your rationale seems the most probable and reasonable ... remember that we deal with government leaders that consider “I gave the least untruthful response ....” an honest answer.

Excellent point. The timing of this makes me wonder if that Chinese hack of the databases isn’t the source of this latest fright.

As for Snowden - how much classified information can one man have? Was he running the whole of the NSA?

“if any spies from US or Brittan die or get imprisoned because of him, he should be executed”

Horse manure... He didn’t decrypt them. They’ve hacked our GOV systems anyway. They undoubtedly downloaded our data un-encrypted.

Well, they shouldn’t have tossed domestic crime in with military foreign operations. That was almost as stupid as abandoning foreign war efforts in favor of more domestic police work to catch foreign enemy guerrillas. It’s a job for more combat engineers on foreign soil, not more police on home soil. Can’t stop hordes of foreign assassins creeping around by trying to catch them within our judicial system. That only leads to violations of civil rights of law-abiding citizens, and some of the assassins will sneak through anyway.

Warfare is for soldiers.

Putin will keep Snowden around until he's done using him as leverage here and there.

Acquaintances of mine said Snowden did a whole lot of damage the media will not reveal...and understandable why they can’t.. He really did put peoples lives in danger...seriously and then some. He should have been shot IMO.
