The backlash continues to rage in the gay community over OUT NYC Hotel owners Ian Reisner and Mati Weiderpass meeting with GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, who is strongly opposed to same-sex marriage.
Weiderpass was kicked out of Fire Island Pines venue Sip-n-Twirl on Sunday after he was confronted by furious patrons over his affiliation with Cruz.
Customer Evan Lobel said, “One guy got up and asked him what the rationale was to have dinner with Cruz. They got kind of heated and before you knew it, there was a lot of people yelling.” We’re told owner P.J. McAteer asked them to leave the bar and threatened to call police.

Well... My grandmother’s recipe and everyone I grew up with know for a fact.. Red Velvet is a chocolate cake. Heck it’s in the recipe for goodness sake. That is one of the two best ingredients in Red Velvet. There is as much cocoa in RV as there is in a plain chocolate cake.. at least in the family recipes. So maybe your fine cooks are from the wrong part of the world, or maybe my grandmother was a master cook.. well she was that.

Exactly. The Constitution is intended to delineate what the government can do. When it is silent on a topic the Government has no authority. I would go so far as to say where an amendment restricts or abridges an individual right it would be contrary to the Constitution. The 9th&10th amendments seem to clarify and restrict the scope for all of the Constitution, past and future.
But the overturning of proposition 8 in California is probably a bellwether. A government-defined institution of marriage is going to be subject to the premise of equal protection and to limits of government powers and authorities.
The LGBT community has nothing but bullying to wreck its way to chaos.
The Democrats, this administration, unions, and the gay lobby are nothing but a bunch of bullies. So far they have been successful with that NAZI tactic.

Speaking of gay adoption, In Michigan religious adoption agencies can refuse gay adoptive parents. Whether they should get money from the state is another matter.

The best thing faith groups could do is bite the bullet and divest of Govt money, pay taxes to Cesar and then run themselves as they see fit. The nanosecond they ‘consider’ ramifications of an action to keep their tax status, they cross the line into being a secular group, not a faith group.
I know thats an unpopular opinion here, but it is the truth. Govt uses that tax/funding to turn faith groups into propaganda arms. Have for years even prior to Barry.
I agree. In fact churches should ditch the tax exemptions and speak freely.
