Ted Cruz, the Republican junior senator from Texas, has heard the line about how the Party needs to become more moderate to win Presidential elections. “It is amazing that the wisdom of the chattering class to the Republicans is always, always, always ‘Surrender your principles and agree with the Democrats,’ ” he told me. “That’s been true for my entire lifetime.

The article is June 2014 but still relevant:

“We’ve got an election coming up in 2014, and, let me tell you, it’s going to be phenomenal. We’re going to retake the U.S. Senate! And I’ll tell you this: as good as 2014’s going to be, 2016’s going to be even better!”

I think I like Cruz’s predictions better than Toobin’s.

I'm voting for the man I believe will actually take on the federal agencies that have targeted us and otherwise overregulated us.

I love the way Ted talks its just the way he’s voting recently that has me worried. How conservative is the Iran Nuclear bill or for God’s sake this monster of a trade bill? It needs to die not be passed. Ted what were you thinking?

He's thinking that Obama's days in office are numbered. Reagan used his global trade authority with great effect that led to foreign manufacturers bringing manufacturing to this country.

The core of our economic issues aren't global trade but local tax and regulatory issues. Its pretty obvious that Cruz intends to tackle those issues with great gusto.

Yes he did and this is just the opposite of what the current trade bill will do. Who has to say it to convince you? Rush, Mark Levin, Jeff Sessions, Rand Paul Donald Trump?

Are you aware that most of the so called trade bill cedes our national sovereighty to a coalition of countries controlled by the UN? Its more global climate BS than trade.

We should be making individual trade agreements with individual countries not some one size fits all. Are you aware that Barack Obama is peeing his pants to sign this thing? What could that mean

This trade bill will mean only one thing, good for big business so they can take more jobs out of the US and bring in more H1-B visa employees. Its a globalist NWO wetdream and the freepers are loving it. Well if Ted Cruz says its OK it just must be OK. BS. He is trying to raise money from the filthy rich and they all want this trade bill. Wise up.
