Mosby told The Baltimore Sun that prosecutors "have a duty to ensure a fair and impartial process for all parties involved" and "will not be baited into litigating this case through the media."

We can be confident that it is in the best interest of the grievance community that the autopsy report is not released.

Why in the world would she do that?

She must have graduated from the Obama school of law. Keep everything secret.

Any further publicity further justifies the defense motion for a change of venue. In that context, Mosby’s request to suppress the autopsy report is reasonable. It’s up to the judge whether to grant it. Our desire to know what the report says does not weigh on that decision.

The defense will have the report regardless. If it contradicts Mosby’s assertions about cause of death, etc., the defense can move to dismiss on that basis (if the report is hidden from public view, they’ll likely move to dismiss even if it doesn’t contradict Mosby’s assertions, as a free shot at implying not guilty. Mosby couldn’t respond publicly without violating her own gag order.)

Isn’t it the judge’s job to ensure that the process is fair and impartial?
