World has no choice but to decarbonize: U.N. climate chief

BARCELONA (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - Responding to climate change in the next 15 years is the world's "mega development project", given the need to invest trillions of dollars in infrastructure, creating jobs and economic stability, the United Nations' top climate change official said on Tuesday.

"It makes fundamental economic sense" for countries to push forward on tackling climate change because of the benefits it will bring in terms of food, water and energy, as well as employment," Christiana Figueres told a carbon market conference in Barcelona.

This, together with the speed at which businesses are acting on climate change and efforts to put a price on carbon, mean "a decarbonized world is now irreversible, irrefutable," the head of the U.N. climate change secretariat told the conference.

"We are going to do it, because frankly we don't have any other option," she said.

Decarbonization refers to shifting from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, and improving energy efficiency, in order to cut planet-warming emissions to a net zero.

Rachel Kyte, the World Bank's special envoy for climate change, said to decarbonize economies, "we will need to begin with extraordinary ambition at the end of this year" in Paris where countries are due to agree a new global deal to tackle climate change.

Experts say the national plans countries are now compiling for that deal are unlikely to add up to the reductions in greenhouse gas emissions needed to keep global warming to an internationally agreed limit of 2 degrees Celsius.

If Jonathan Swift, the premier satirist of the 18th century, had postulated the criminalization of the element carbon, critics would have looked away in sad shame for the once-great writer’s obvious descent into dementia.

Looks like the sorld has no choice but to decarbonize the U.N. and its crazy agenda to impose socialism on the world by using any excuse possible.

If you were a professor that statement would cost you tenure

Imagine what it would be like to live in a world where scientific inquiry was not shackled by politics or business

Imagine the things that might change everyone’s lives

For those who deny climate change is real, all you have to do is consider that the settlement of the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde became abandoned when a pervasive drought destroyed farming in that area about 1300 AD, long before Al Gore sounded the alarm.

I am awating sound research showing the optimum climate for our present biosphere. All I see in what passes for research on the climate is an attempt to secure the optimum level of government intrusion in our lives.

It is no surprise that almost every demand made by advocates of global warming converges on bigger government, higher taxes, less freedom and more restrictions on how we choose to live our lives. That tells me all I need to know about this massive fraud.

The carbon trading schemes are the key driver. There will be people taking fees out of every carbon trade. The amounts could be in the trillions. This is what is driving the big money supporters of “global warming mitigation” - pure avarice.

Multiply the Clinton Foundation x1000.

Promise a cut to state and local politicians too.

Top it off with a commitment to "diversity."

Who gets the money?
The clinton global criminal party.

BTW this global scam is over about for about a supposed 1 degree in temperature rise change. Since every day we have tens of degree of change and we survive, you know it is a scam.

And we would have been well on our way if these same idiots hadn't been stopping nuclear energy 40 years ago. The world governments are totally in debt and believe the only way out is a huge carbon tax. We are in the indoctrination stage now.

Global genocide is indeed the very first commandment listed on the Georgia Guidestones, 3boysdad. Consider the following:

Humans As Nonpersons and Plague Species

1."Saying homo sapiens are a 'plague species,' the London Zoo opened a new exhibit featuring--eight humans. We have set up this exhibit to highlight the spread of man as a plague species and to communicate the importance of man's place in the planet's ecosystem." (Human Beings: Plague Species; WorldNet Daily, 2005)

2."Human beings, as a species, have no more value than slugs." (Earth First! Journal editor John Daily)

3."To feed a starving child is to exacerbate the world population problem." (Yale professor Lamont Cole)

4."The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States." (Michael Oppenheimer, Environmental Defense Fund)

5."Until such time as homo sapiens decide to rejoin nature, (we) can only hope for the right virus to come along." (David Graber, research biologist with the National Park Service)

6."Nonpersons or potential persons cannot be wronged…because death does not deprive them of something they value." (John Harris, Sir David Alliance professor of bioethics, University of Manchester, England)

On the Elimination of Human Weeds and Other Schemes

1."In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine, and the like would fill the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention…the real enemy…is humanity itself." (The First Global Revolution, published by the Club of Rome)

a. “We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.”- Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation

b. “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”- Christine Stewart, former Canadian Minister of the Environment

2."In Guyana, within 2 years, it (DDT) had almost eliminated malaria…my chief quarrel with DDT…is that it has greatly added to the population problem." (Alexander King, former president of the Club of Rome)

Note: In the 60's, a group of depopulation environmentalists conspired to have DDT banned from being used to control mosquitoes and malaria. The subsequent banning of DDT resulted in millions of deaths. One source estimated the death total as 500 million. 3."I do not pretend that birth control is the only way in which population can be kept from increasing. There are others…If a Black Death could be spread throughout the world once in every generation survivors could procreate…without making the world too full…the state of affairs might be unpleasant but what of it? Really high-minded people are indifferent to suffering, especially that of others." (Bertrand Russell, The Impact of Science on Society)

Although they've not managed to spread a Black Death, they have managed to ignite a worldwide conflagration of STDS and AIDS. Keep in mind that it's progressives, liberals and their international cohorts who have been preaching their gospel of ''salvation and redemption by sex'' (safe sex). What they don't want you to know is that it's the environment (Gaia) they are trying to save from the human plague. Causing human weeds to become diseased, sterile, psychologically damaged, and die young is part of their scheme to redeem the world.

Ask yourselves why there has been no logical response to this plague. Why, for instance, has there been no call to quarantine the infected? And in the face of mounting death totals (468,000 dead from AIDs since 1981), why do they continue to teach our children to engage in the very behaviors which they know to be the cause of death? The CDC (2002) reports that 16,000 deaths from AIDs occur annually. Another 40,000 new cases of infection occur within the same time frame. There are more than 1 million cases of HIV, 31-50 million of herpes simplex, 24 million of HPV, and 1 million cases of chronic hepatitis B.

How Many Should be Allowed to Exist?

1."The total world population should be no more than 2 billion rather than the current 5.6 billion." (Cornell University professor David Pimentel, speaking before the American Assoc. for the Advancement of Science)

2."The damage people cause is a function of demographics…One American burdens the earth much more than 20 Bangladeshes…In order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day." (Jacques Cousteau, the UNESCO Courier, Nov. 1991)

3."Cut the population by 90%" (Dr. Sam Keen, Gorbachev Conference in San Francisco)

One of satan’s top ten lies. He comes to kill, steal and destroy. His insane, irrational hatred of God reflects on us, humans having been created in the image of God. Putting the thought in ‘greenies’ heads that the population needs to decrease substantially, works to his desire to ‘kill’, be it through mass slaughter of those lacking a certain ‘quality of life’, or a woman's ‘ right’ to aborticide. Of course it is manifest in the desire of koran following muhamedans to kill followers of God (and anyone else they see fit to) in the most brutal and shocking ways.

satan also comes to steal, both our Salvation and our joy. If he can convince people that God does not exist, or, is a different god, like madmo’s god,he steals their salvation. For those that are saved, he still wants to steal their joy, often sewing the seeds of dissent among Believers and denominations.

satan comes to destroy: churches, faith, denominations, historical treasures (ex: Taliban destroying the Buddhas of Bamiyan, ISIS destroying ancient artifacts in Mosul, etc.). He also comes to destroy our way of life. If he can remove us 'carbon use', we end up cold (at least on Canada in the winter), unable to travel far or quickly, at a disadvantage for food, as we cannot cook without using 'carbon'.

God is a god of love, justice and order. satan is hate, injustice and above all, a 'prince' of confusion! When we fight against the 'greenies' and even the koran following Moslems like ISIS, we risk falling into the hatred that satan wants us to have for our fellow man. In Ephesians 6:12, Paul writes, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against." The battle is not easy, especially our internal struggle against falling into satan's traps, but we must, so we can be victorious in the fight against such principalities.
